Draw Bias Against Slice

The head weighting and internal construction of the OPTM MAX-D are specifically tuned to limit an open face position at impact. By positioning mass towards the heel and back of the head, the club naturally encourages a closing of the face through the strike zone. The result is a draw-biased shot shape — or at minimum a straighter ball flight — for golfers who regularly fight a left-to-right miss. This makes the MAX-D an ideal choice for mid- to high-handicap players who want a driver that actively works with their swing to correct a slice rather than punish it.

MAX Forgiveness — High MOI Design

The OPTM MAX-D is engineered with a high Moment of Inertia (MOI), meaning the head resists twisting on off-center strikes far more effectively than conventional designs. Loft & Lie Adjustability (FF33)

The OPTM MAX-D features Cobra's FF33 adjustable hosel, which allows the loft to be dialed in ±2° from its base setting and the lie angle to be adjusted within a corresponding range. For the 10.5° head, this means a usable loft range of 8.5°–12.5° and a lie range of 55°–59°. The 12.0° head covers 10.0°–14.0° loft and 56°–60° lie. This level of customization allows golfers and club fitters to tailor the driver precisely to individual swing characteristics, optimizing launch angle, spin rate, and shot shape without changing the shaft or grip.
