Callaway Quantum Max D driver

Callaway Quantum Max D Men's Driver + Headcover

The Callaway Quantum Max D Driver is engineered for golfers who demand the highest level of forgiveness in the Quantum lineup while also needing genuine help correcting a slice. Thanks to its internal heel weighting, this driver features a slight draw bias that encourages the ball back towards the fairway, while simultaneously promoting an easy, higher launch for greater carry distance and more confident tee shots round after round.

With less drift to the right on every drive — strategically placed weight in the heel actively promotes a draw shape and reduces the tendency to slice. You gain maximum stability and composure through impact — the player-friendly shape with its high MOI forgives off-centre strikes and maintains direction. Speed and consistency even on mishits — the Tri-Force Face (ultra-thin titanium + Poly Mesh™ + carbon) is constructed as an integrated speed system delivering ball speed, distance and more stable spin even when contact is less than perfect.

This driver is ideal for golfers who:

• Frequently miss to the right and want draw-bias assistance without complicated technique adjustments
• Are looking for easy, high launch and the maximum possible forgiveness
• Want a driver that is simple to hit and remains stable even on imprecise strikes

Technology in Detail

Next Generation Ai-Optimized Face Design

Consistent performance across the entire face is achieved through smarter face-flex unlocking powered by artificial intelligence — now accounting for the combined interaction of ultra-thin high-strength titanium, polyamide mesh, and carbon fibre working together as one integrated system. Every zone of the face is precisely tuned using advanced AI modelling to optimise ball speed, spin, launch angle and directional accuracy based on real-world impact patterns gathered from thousands of golfer swings. The result is a face that keeps ball speed and spin rate more stable across a wider area, so even off-centre strikes fly longer and straighter than you might expect.

Internal Heel Weighting — Slight Draw Bias

Weight has been strategically positioned in the heel section of the head to promote a mild draw tendency at impact, actively working against the slice that frustrates so many recreational golfers. This draw-biased configuration encourages the face to return to square more easily through the hitting zone, reducing the amount of left-to-right side spin that sends the ball into the rough. The result is a driver that fights your miss and rewards you with more fairways hit, giving you greater confidence and distance on every tee shot.

Confidence-Inspiring Shape

The Quantum Max D features a refined, player-friendly profile that instils confidence the moment you place the club behind the ball. Its high moment of inertia (MOI) construction resists twisting on off-centre impacts, maintaining ball speed and directional stability across a wider area of the face than traditional designs. This is the highest-forgiveness head in the entire Quantum range, making it the ideal choice for golfers who are not striking the ball perfectly every time but still want to see consistent, powerful results in the air. The clean, reassuring look at address reinforces a positive mindset before every swing.

OptiFit Hosel Adjustability

The OptiFit hosel offers independent loft and lie adjustment, providing a total of eight distinct configurations to fine-tune your launch angle and shot shape. Whether you are looking to add height to your trajectory, straighten out your ball flight, or dial in a more draw-oriented setting, the OptiFit system gives you the flexibility to customise the driver precisely to your swing without the need for a club-builder. This level of adjustability ensures that as your game evolves, your Quantum Max D can evolve alongside it, keeping you in the optimal setup at all times.
