The Masters Golf 1" x 42" Interlining Belt range delivers a complete selection of replacement sanding belts for the 42" Multi Deluxe Belt Sander and compatible 1" x 42" belt sanding machines. Micron Finishing Belt
The Micron Finishing Belt uses a micro-grit abrasive oxide mineral to gently remove the factory lacquer and polyurethane coating from graphite shaft tips. Durabrite Belt
The Durabrite Belt is a high-quality fabric (cloth) belt specially constructed for rapid sanding and polishing of plastic ferrules. Its woven surface cuts quickly to turn a rough ferrule down to the correct taper and diameter, then transitions into a smooth polishing action that leaves the ferrule surface clean and glossy. The premium construction means the belt retains its cutting ability for longer, reducing belt changes during a busy workshop session. The Durabrite will not harm painted finishes on graphite shafts or club heads, eliminating the need for protective masking tape during the ferrule turning process.
Trizact Tip Preparation Belts
Trizact Tip Preparation Belts use a structured three-dimensional abrasive surface that self-renews as it wears, delivering consistent cutting performance throughout the belt's life. This fine-grit belt is ideal for preparing the tips of graphite shafts where precision is critical — it roughens the surface sufficiently to create an excellent epoxy bond without the risk of over-sanding and weakening the shaft. It can equally be used on lightweight steel shafts where a controlled, lighter abrasion is required. The structured surface prevents loading, keeping the belt cutting cleanly even when working on coated surfaces.
Sanding Belts
The standard Sanding Belt is a coarse, heavy-duty abrasive belt intended for abrading steel shaft tips in preparation for reshafting. The aggressive grit quickly roughens the smooth steel surface, creating the mechanical key needed for a strong epoxy bond between shaft and hosel. These belts are available in a range of grits — coarse, medium and fine — allowing the clubmaker to select the correct cut for the task at hand. They are the go-to choice for steel shaft work and general abrasion tasks around the workshop where fast material removal is required.
Cloth Belts
Cloth Belts are fine-grit woven fabric belts designed for the final stages of ferrule preparation and polishing. After turning a ferrule down to the correct profile, the Cloth Belt is used to smooth away any remaining abrasion marks, blending the ferrule seamlessly with the top of the hosel for a professional finish. The soft woven construction is gentle enough to avoid scratching the shaft finish or the club head while still providing sufficient abrasive action to achieve a clean, uniform surface.
