GORE-TEX SURROUND®
The GORE-TEX SURROUND® membrane wraps the entire footbed area in waterproof yet breathable protection, keeping feet dry in wet conditions while allowing moisture vapour to escape. Unlike conventional waterproof liners that only cover the upper, SURROUND technology works in combination with ventilation channels in the midsole so that air can circulate all the way around and underneath the foot. The result is a noticeably cooler, drier microclimate inside the shoe throughout the entire round – on manicured fairways, dewy rough, or a wet city pavement.
ECCO FLUIDFORM™ Direct Comfort Midsole
ECCO's proprietary FLUIDFORM™ Direct Comfort technology bonds the midsole and outsole in a single manufacturing step, eliminating the need for glue or stitching at the sole junction. This process creates innovative ventilation channels within the midsole itself, actively directing airflow toward the underfoot surface and working in tandem with GORE-TEX SURROUND® to maintain optimal temperature and moisture management. E-DTS® TWIST Outsole
The E-DTS® TWIST outsole – where E-DTS stands for ECCO Dynamic Traction System – features a multidirectional lug pattern specifically engineered for the rotational and lateral forces of a golf swing. In high-wear areas such as the heel and toe-off zone, the lug pattern is slightly wider to resist abrasion and maintain grip integrity over thousands of steps. The spikeless construction means the same outsole transitions seamlessly from the course to the clubhouse or street without marking delicate surfaces.
Premium Perforated ECCO Leather Upper
The upper is constructed from ECCO's own full-grain leather, which is tanned and finished in ECCO-owned tanneries for consistent quality. An adjustable textile strap wraps the ankle to provide a secure, customisable fit, while the overall ankle-boot silhouette adds structure and stability to the shoe during the swing. Removable Inlay Sole
The removable inlay sole provides long-lasting impact absorption and additional breathability from below, complementing the GORE-TEX SURROUND® system above. Removing the insole not only allows it to air out between rounds for enhanced hygiene and longevity, but also increases the internal volume of the shoe – a practical benefit for golfers who wear custom orthotics or require a slightly roomier fit. The insole is easy to reinsert and remains securely in place during play.
