PWR TRAX Traction System
The PWR TRAX outsole system is FootJoy's advanced solution for spikeless traction. The StratoFoam midsole is a proprietary foam compound specifically formulated for golf footwear, balancing softness underfoot with the responsive support needed during the golf swing. Above it sits the Ortholite® Impressions FitBed®, a premium removable footbed that features a moulded X25 outsole integration. Ortholite® foam is renowned in the athletic footwear industry for its open-cell structure that remains soft and supportive over thousands of hours of use, resisting compression set far better than standard EVA foam alternatives.
Laser-Plus-Last Construction
The last — the mould around which the shoe is built — defines the overall fit and feel. The Pro/SLX uses FootJoy's Laser-Plus-Last, which features a fully rounded toe character for natural toe splay and comfort during the swing. The fit is standard across the entire forefoot, providing a non-restrictive feel suited to a wide range of foot shapes. The heel is slightly tapered for a secure, locked-in fit that prevents slippage at the back of the shoe.
