The PWR TRAX system is FootJoy's advanced traction platform for spikeless golf shoes. The moulded Pro|SLX™ carbon fibre plate is built into the midsole to provide a stable, responsive platform throughout every step. This structural insert enhances torsional rigidity, helping to resist unwanted foot rotation during the swing for better ground connection. It also improves energy return during the walking stride, reducing fatigue over a full 18-hole round. StratoFoam is FootJoy's patented lightweight foam compound, specifically engineered for golf footwear. The material is designed to compress and rebound in a controlled manner, absorbing impact at heel strike and returning energy through the toe-off phase of the stride. StratoFoam works in conjunction with the X25 outsole and Ortholite® Impressions FitBed® to create a multi-layer comfort system that cushions the foot from above and below.
The X25 outsole incorporates an Ortholite® Impressions FitBed® — a contoured, anatomically shaped insole that provides consistent cushioning and moisture management throughout the round.
