The surface delivers a 100% waterproof barrier, keeping your feet dry in all course conditions. Its soft, supple feel provides a comfortable, glove-like fit from the very first wear, with no break-in period required.

PWR TRAX Outsole System

The PWR TRAX system is FootJoy's advanced traction platform for spikeless golf shoes. Strategically placed traction elements across the outsole engage with the turf to provide confident grip during the swing, at address and through follow-through. The system delivers reliable stability on a wide variety of surfaces, including wet grass, firm fairways and off-course terrain, making the Pro/SLX a genuinely versatile shoe for the modern golfer.

Pro|SLX™ Contoured Carbon Fibre Insert

The moulded Pro|SLX™ carbon fibre plate is built into the midsole to provide a stable, responsive platform throughout every step. This structural insert enhances torsional rigidity, helping to resist unwanted foot rotation during the swing for better ground connection. It also improves energy return during the walking stride, reducing fatigue over a full 18-hole round. The combination of carbon fibre stiffness and a contoured shape means you get stability without sacrificing natural foot movement.

StratoFoam Midsole Cushioning

StratoFoam is FootJoy's patented lightweight foam compound, specifically engineered for golf footwear. The material is designed to compress and rebound in a controlled manner, absorbing impact at heel strike and returning energy through the toe-off phase of the stride. This translates to noticeably reduced foot fatigue during a full round of golf. StratoFoam works in conjunction with the X25 outsole and Ortholite® Impressions FitBed® to create a multi-layer comfort system that cushions the foot from above and below.

Ortholite® Impressions FitBed®

The X25 outsole incorporates an Ortholite® Impressions FitBed® — a contoured, anatomically shaped insole that provides consistent cushioning and moisture management throughout the round. Ortholite® foam is a premium open-cell material widely recognised in the footwear industry for its long-lasting loft, breathability and antimicrobial properties. The deep heel cup of the FitBed® cradles the foot and enhances overall stability, working in harmony with the broader comfort architecture of the shoe.

Laser-Plus Last Construction

The Laser-Plus last defines the overall shape and fit of the Pro/SLX. It features a fully rounded toe box that provides generous room across the forefoot without appearing overly bulky. The fit is standard across the full front section of the foot, transitioning to a mildly tapered heel for a secure, locked-in feel at the back of the shoe. A deep heel pocket enhances the effectiveness of the FitBed® cushioning system, ensuring the foot is well-positioned for both comfort and performance throughout the round.
