The adidas Boost midsole is engineered to provide industry-leading energy return with every step. Thousands of fused TPU capsules compress and rebound to deliver a responsive, cushioned ride across all 18 holes. Unlike traditional foam midsoles that lose their cushioning properties over time, Boost maintains its performance in both warm and cold conditions. The result is a noticeably springy underfoot feel that keeps fatigue at bay, ensuring you walk off the 18th green with as much energy as you started with.
Adiwear and Traxion Spikeless Outsole
The outsole combines adidas Adiwear durability with Traxion grip technology to deliver outstanding traction across all surfaces — from dewy morning fairways to firm summer turf. The spikeless configuration means you can walk directly from the course into the clubhouse or pro shop without changing footwear. The multidirectional tread pattern ensures stable footing during the swing, preventing unwanted foot movement at impact for consistent ball striking.
Waterproof Textile Upper
The textile upper is engineered with waterproof construction to shield your feet from moisture during early morning rounds or light rain. Unlike traditional leather uppers, the textile construction is lighter and more flexible, conforming naturally to the shape of your foot. The breathable yet waterproof fabric helps regulate internal temperature, keeping feet comfortable across varying weather conditions throughout the round.
Torsion X Stabilising Plate
Integrated into the Boost midsole, the Torsion X plate features an X-shaped torsion bar that provides controlled midfoot rigidity. This structure allows the forefoot and heel to move independently, promoting a more natural gait while delivering the lateral stability essential during the golf swing. The result is a shoe that feels athletic and responsive during the walk, yet firm and supportive at the moment of impact.
Primeblue Sustainable Material
The Adidas Adicross ZX Primeblue SL is made with Primeblue, a high-performance recycled material partly composed of Parley Ocean Plastic — plastic waste intercepted from beaches and coastal communities before it reaches the ocean. 50% of the upper is made from textile, and 75% of that textile is Primeblue yarn. No virgin polyester is used in the upper construction. Choosing these shoes means participating in adidas and Parley's mission to end plastic waste in our oceans.
EVA Cushioning
Lightweight EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) cushioning is incorporated into the footbed and construction to provide additional shock absorption with every step. EVA is a proven material in performance footwear for its combination of low weight and effective impact dampening. Together with the Boost midsole, the EVA layer contributes to a multi-density cushioning system that adapts to different terrain and walking conditions on the course.
