Technology in Detail

Suede Plus Full Palm Microfibre

The full-palm Suede Plus microfibre construction is the core technology behind the Rain Spann's exceptional wet-weather performance. Unlike standard leather or synthetic gloves that lose grip when damp, this specialist material actually becomes more tacky as moisture increases. The microfibre surface channels water away from the contact zone while maintaining a firm, non-slip interface between your hand and the grip. Whether you are playing in light drizzle or a heavy downpour, the Suede Plus palm ensures you maintain full control of every shot.

Fusetech™ Construction

Callaway's proprietary Fusetech™ technology bonds the glove materials together without traditional stitching in key areas, creating a smoother internal surface and a more consistent fit across the hand. This process reduces bulk at the seams, so the glove conforms closely to the natural contours of your fingers for a second-skin sensation. The result is a glove that remains supple and responsive even after repeated exposure to rain and moisture, maintaining its shape and durability round after round.

Opti Fit™ Material

The Opti Fit™ stretch material is incorporated into the back of the glove and key flex zones, allowing the glove to adapt to a wide range of hand shapes and sizes without bunching or restriction. This four-way stretch panel moves naturally with your hand through the full swing arc, from address to follow-through, ensuring that the glove never interferes with feel or club feedback. Combined with Fusetech™ bonding, Opti Fit™ contributes to a glove that is both highly durable and exceptionally comfortable throughout an entire round in challenging conditions.

Stretch Binding Cuff

The Stretch Binding Cuff at the wrist provides a secure, adjustable closure that keeps the glove firmly in place even during the most powerful swings. The cuff material is designed to absorb moisture at the wrist area, helping to prevent water from running down into the glove during heavy rain. The elastic nature of the binding means it accommodates different wrist sizes comfortably without cutting off circulation, and the clean profile sits neatly under the sleeve of your rain jacket for a tidy, professional look on the course.
