Every club in the set benefits from proven Callaway technologies that maximise ball speed and stability, even on off-center strikes. The Stiff flex shaft option suits golfers with a faster swing tempo who want added control and precision alongside the set's inherent forgiveness. Recommended for players approximately 175–190 cm tall.

Technology in Detail

Titanium Driver for Long Distance

The XR driver is built around a forgiving 460cc titanium head with a high-speed face that flexes at impact to produce fast ball speeds. The large head profile maximises the sweet spot, making it easier to find the centre of the face and launch the ball high with a penetrating flight. Whether you are teeing off on a tight par 4 or a wide open par 5, the XR driver gives you the power and forgiveness to attack the hole with confidence. Left-hand orientation ensures a natural setup for left-handed golfers at every level.

Fairway Wood with Speed & Forgiveness

The XR 3-wood is designed with a speed-focused clubhead construction that helps generate fast ball speeds across the face. Even shots struck away from the centre of the face benefit from the forgiving design, adding valuable metres and keeping the ball on line. It transitions seamlessly between tee shots on shorter holes and long approaches from the fairway, making it one of the most versatile clubs in the bag. A low-profile head and low CG promote easy, high-launching ball flight with minimal effort.

Versatile Hybrids (4H & 5H)

The XR hybrids deliver high ball speed across the entire clubface, so even mishits stay in play and carry adequate distance. As ideal long-iron replacements, they combine the easy-launch characteristics of a fairway wood with the control and consistency of an iron. The rounded sole glides smoothly through a variety of lies — tight fairways, light rough, or even off the tee — making them one of the most reliable clubs in any bag. Two hybrid lofts (4H and 5H) ensure seamless gapping between the fairway wood and the iron set.

Easy-to-Hit Game-Improvement Irons

The XR irons incorporate a classic game-improvement shape with a wide sole and a cavity-back design that distributes weight to the perimeter for maximum forgiveness. They are engineered to produce a high launch angle and impressive carry distances, while still providing the directional control needed to hit greens consistently. The iron set runs from the 6-iron through the pitching wedge, approach wedge, and sand wedge — seven clubs that cover every distance from long approaches down to short-range pin-seekers. Steel shafts in Stiff flex add stability and feedback at impact.

Callaway Sand Wedge for Short Game Control

The sand wedge included in the XR set is purpose-built to instil confidence around the green. Its loft and sole grind make it equally effective from greenside bunkers, tight lies, and longer chip shots from the fringe. Increased bounce helps the club glide through sand and soft turf without digging, while the compact head shape gives you the feel and precision needed for delicate touch shots. Combined with the approach wedge also included in the set, your short-game arsenal is comprehensively covered.

Odyssey DFX Putter — Confidence on the Greens

The Odyssey DFX putter features the iconic V-Line Fang shape, a mallet design that makes alignment easier and helps square the face consistently at impact. The wide, wing-like profile raises the moment of inertia (MOI), keeping the head stable on off-centre putts and rolling the ball truer across a wide range of green speeds. A soft insert in the face promotes a smooth, muffled feel at impact for confident short putts and lag-putt control on long approaches. Including the Odyssey DFX in this set ensures that the quality extends all the way to the final shot of every hole.
