Description
Cobra King JR junior golf set, graphite
The Cobra King JR Junior Complete Set is an excellent choice for young golfers aged 7 to 9 years who are discovering their love of the game. Every club in the set has been carefully designed to maximise distance and forgiveness, helping juniors build confidence and improve their game from the very first swing. Lightweight graphite shafts throughout make the clubs easy to swing, while the age-appropriate lengths and junior flex ensure the right feel and ball flight for developing players. The set comes complete with a stand bag, so young golfers have everything they need to head straight to the course.
Key Features
- Purpose-Built for Juniors: Designed specifically for young golfers aged 7–9 years with a height of 106–127 cm, ensuring clubs are the right length and weight for growing players.
- Graphite Shafts Throughout: All woods and irons feature lightweight graphite shafts with junior flex (J-Flex), making the clubs easier to swing and promoting a natural, consistent ball flight.
- 375cc Driver with Headcover: A large, forgiving 375cc driver head delivers maximum distance and forgiveness on off-centre hits, giving young players the best chance of a great tee shot.
- Hybrid with Headcover: A low-CG hybrid replaces longer irons, making it easier to launch the ball high and achieve good distance from fairway or rough.
- Forgiving Iron Set (#7, #9, SW): Three irons cover the full approach game, with cavity-back construction for added forgiveness and a sand wedge for bunker and short-game shots.
- Mallet Putter: A mallet-style putter with alignment aids promotes accuracy and consistency on the greens, helping young players develop a reliable putting stroke.
- Junior Stand Bag Included: A lightweight stand bag with kickstand legs is included, designed to be carried comfortably on the back and featuring pockets for all essential accessories.
- Right-Hand Orientation: Configured for right-handed players (left foot closer to the hole at address).
Technology in Detail
375cc Driver for Maximum Distance
The Cobra King JR driver features a 375cc clubhead — impressively large for a junior set — that provides a big sweet spot and excellent forgiveness on off-centre strikes. The oversized head combined with a lightweight graphite shaft and junior flex allows young players to generate clubhead speed naturally, translating into longer, more consistent drives off the tee. The included headcover protects the driver between rounds, keeping the clubface in top condition for seasons to come.
Low-CG Hybrid for Easy Launch
The hybrid replaces harder-to-hit long irons and is engineered with a low centre of gravity to help the ball get airborne effortlessly. Its stainless steel head construction provides durability and solid feel, while the wide sole glides cleanly through the turf from fairways, light rough, or even tricky lies. The hybrid comes with its own headcover, making it a versatile and protected club that young golfers will rely on throughout the round. An included headcover keeps the clubhead protected at all times.
Forgiving Cavity-Back Irons (#7, #9, SW)
The iron set covers three essential distances with a #7 iron for mid-range approaches, a #9 iron for shorter shots, and a sand wedge (SW) for bunker play and chip shots around the green. Each iron features perimeter-weighted, cavity-back construction that shifts weight to the edges of the clubface, greatly increasing the sweet spot and reducing the effect of mis-hits. Loft angles are optimised for junior swing speeds to promote high-launching, forgiving ball flights and proper distance gapping through the set.
Mallet Putter for Confident Putting
The mallet-style putter is designed to help junior golfers develop a repeatable, reliable putting stroke from an early age. The wide mallet head provides high MOI (moment of inertia) for a stable face through impact, while built-in alignment aids on the top of the putter make it easy to line up to the target. A soft-feel insert delivers consistent, controlled distance on all putts and helps juniors develop excellent touch on the greens.
Lightweight Junior Stand Bag
The set includes a purpose-built junior stand bag fitted with a kickstand leg system so it stands upright on the course without needing to lean against anything. Padded dual shoulder straps make it comfortable to carry for young golfers, while multiple pockets provide space for balls, tees, water bottles, and accessories. The lightweight construction ensures the bag does not add unnecessary strain on small shoulders during a full round of golf.
Age-Appropriate Sizing and Junior Flex
All clubs in the Cobra King JR set are built to standard junior lengths optimised for children with a height of 106–127 cm, which typically corresponds to ages 7–9. The J-Flex (Junior Flex) graphite shafts are specifically engineered to match slower junior swing speeds, providing the correct bend profile for maximum energy transfer and consistent ball flight. Junior-sized grips ensure a natural, comfortable hold for small hands, encouraging a correct grip technique from the very start.
