Take your athletic golf performance to the next level with the FootJoy Fuel Sport. FootJoy has elevated the popular Fuel franchise into the Sport edition — combining a brand-new breathable mesh upper with an ultra-thin TPU Hot Melt top layer for long-lasting waterproof protection, all sitting atop the featherlight Stratolite foam midsole and the tour-proven Power Stabilizer outsole with Stability Bridge. The result is a spikeless golf shoe that delivers sneaker-inspired comfort and serious on-course control, round after round. This listing is for a like-new (open-box / lightly used) pair in the white/purple colourway, UK size 7.5 (EU 41 / US 9.5).
The Fuel Sport upper is constructed from a lightweight, high-breathability performance mesh that allows continuous airflow around the foot throughout the round. Over the mesh sits an ultra-thin TPU Hot Melt top layer — a transparent bonded film that reinforces the mesh against abrasion and moisture without adding weight or compromising breathability. The combination ensures the shoe remains fresh and comfortable even on warm summer days, while retaining its structural shape after repeated use. This dual-material construction also makes surface cleaning quick and straightforward.
FootJoy's patented Stratolite foam midsole is engineered specifically for golf — providing a high degree of underfoot cushioning and energy return that keeps your legs feeling fresh across all 18 holes. The material is significantly lighter than conventional EVA foam, which reduces overall shoe weight without sacrificing the protective cushioning needed during long walks on the course. Maximum walkability and all-day comfort are the defining characteristics of this midsole technology, making it equally suited to competitive rounds and casual leisure play.
The Power Stabilizer outsole features a specially designed lug pattern that delivers tour-proven traction across all course surfaces — from dewy morning fairways to firm summer rough. At the heart of the outsole sits the Stability Bridge, a rigid structural element that spans the midfoot zone and acts as a torsional brace during the golf swing. When you rotate through impact, the Stability Bridge resists unwanted flex in the midfoot, translating more power efficiently to the ground and keeping your swing mechanics consistent. The result is a spikeless shoe that performs with the confidence of a spiked design.
The Flex Last shaping gives the Fuel Sport a distinctly athletic silhouette that mirrors the contours of an active woman's foot. The toe box is fully rounded, allowing natural splay of the toes without restriction, while the forefoot and instep areas offer a full, comfortable fit with ample volume. A subtle toe spring encourages a natural forward rolling motion with each step, and the slightly narrowed heel cup holds the foot securely in place during the swing to prevent slippage. This combination of shapes means the shoe performs like a golf shoe while feeling like a premium everyday sneaker.
