Technology in Detail

BOA® Fit System

The BOA® Fit System replaces traditional laces with a precision-engineered dial mechanism that delivers fast, effortless and repeatable fit adjustment. A single turn of the dial tightens or releases tension evenly across the entire upper, eliminating pressure points and ensuring a consistent, locked-down feel with every shot. The micro-adjustable nature of the system means you can fine-tune the fit during a round without removing a glove or losing focus. The result is a secure, performance-ready shoe that adapts perfectly to the contours of your foot for a stable base through every swing.

StratoFoam Midsole

The StratoFoam midsole is a specially engineered lightweight foam compound that cushions every step while returning energy efficiently underfoot. It absorbs the repeated impact of walking 18 holes and translates that into a comfortable, spring-like ride that never feels heavy or fatiguing. The foam is tuned to balance softness where comfort matters most with firmness where support is critical — particularly through the midfoot and heel during the rotational forces of the golf swing. The overall effect is a shoe that feels as comfortable on the 18th green as it did on the first tee.

Infinity Outsole

The Infinity Outsole is engineered with a high density of strategically placed traction points that work together to maximise grip and ground contact on every type of terrain — from firm links turf to softer parkland fairways. The spikeless configuration means the outsole transitions seamlessly from the golf course to the clubhouse without any loss of grip or comfort. Each traction element is positioned to deliver lateral stability during the backswing and powerful traction through impact, giving you a consistent, planted base regardless of conditions underfoot.

Waterproof Upper Construction

The Pro/SL BOA upper is constructed from a high-performance synthetic material engineered to be fully waterproof, keeping your feet completely dry even during early-morning rounds when the grass is heavy with dew or when the weather takes an unexpected turn. The material combines waterproof protection with a degree of breathability, so moisture from inside the shoe — caused by natural perspiration — can be managed for long-term comfort. The upper also delivers an excellent balance of flexibility and foot support, moving naturally with the foot while maintaining the structural integrity needed for a confident, stable swing.
