The Golf Pride MCC Plus4 Align Max in Midsize is the most feature-rich grip in Golf Pride's MCC family, engineered to deliver maximum consistency, control, and power from the first swing to the last. Combining three proven technologies into a single grip, it is built for golfers who demand locked-in hand placement and all-weather performance. Whether you play irons, hybrids, or woods, the Midsize profile is ideal for players with larger hands who want a fuller feel and reduced grip tension. This is the grip for golfers ready to raise their game.
Golf Pride's most advanced alignment technology pushes the Raised Ridge to the maximum height allowed under the rules of golf. The ridge is higher, firmer, and longer than the original ALIGN technology, running from the butt of the grip all the way to the mouth. This provides an unmistakable tactile reference point that guides fingers to their ideal position, promotes a square clubface at both address and impact, and allows golfers to choke up or down on the grip for precise shotmaking.
The Plus4 design increases the outer diameter of the lower hand to simulate the effect of four extra wraps of grip tape. This reduced taper profile is the same preference used by many Tour professionals to manage grip pressure. The result is less tension throughout the hands and forearms during the swing, creating a more fluid, powerful motion through impact. The lower half also uses a softer rubber compound for enhanced comfort and feel.
The upper half of the grip uses Golf Pride's proprietary Brushed Cotton Cord construction, which fuses moisture-wicking cotton fibres into a high-performance rubber base. This delivers firm, reliable traction for the glove hand in all weather conditions including heat, humidity, and rain, ensuring the club never feels loose or unpredictable.
The exterior of the MCC Plus4 Align Max features a dense pebbled pattern punctuated by plus-sign motifs across both the upper and lower sections of the grip. This dual-texture surface maximises friction between the hand and the grip at every point of contact, adding an extra layer of stability and confidence whether the conditions are dry or wet.
