The Golf Pride MCC Plus4 Align Max™ is the brand’s most technologically advanced hybrid grip, engineered for golfers who demand maximum control, consistency, and all-weather confidence. It combines three proven Golf Pride technologies — ALIGN MAX™ raised-ridge alignment, Plus4™ larger lower-hand profile, and Dual-Traction cord-and-rubber construction — into a single, tour-inspired grip. Suitable for irons, hybrids, and woods, this Standard-size grip in black/grey is the go-to choice for any golfer looking to lock in their hand placement and unlock more power through the swing.
The upper hand features Golf Pride’s exclusive Brushed Cotton Cord (BCT®) technology, which fuses moisture-wicking cotton fibres into a soft rubber matrix for confident all-weather control — ideal for players with active hands. The lower hand is wrapped in a high-performance, 20% softer rubber compound, engineered for feel and responsiveness on every shot.
Golf Pride’s most advanced alignment innovation. The ALIGN MAX ridge runs the full length of the back of the grip and is approximately 25% higher and longer than the original ALIGN ridge. A firmer micro-diamond texture and a dedicated flex channel lift the ridge above the grip body, locking fingers into a repeatable position and making it easier to deliver a square clubface at address and impact — even when choking up or down the shaft.
Inspired by Tour players who build up their grips with extra tape layers, Plus4™ Technology increases the outer diameter of the lower hand to simulate the feel of four extra wraps of tape. The result is a reduced taper profile that promotes lighter grip pressure, less tension in the hands and forearms, and a freer, more powerful swing through the ball.
An aggressive combination of pebbled texture and plus-sign patterns covers the entire grip surface. This maximises the contact area between the grip and the glove, ensuring a secure connection and preventing unwanted club movement — especially valuable in wet or humid conditions on the course.
