The Golf Pride MCC Plus4 is a hybrid grip that combines a cord upper section with a softer rubber lower section. It features an enlarged lower hand section and a new, softer rubber material. This Standard size version with a .60 round core comes in a navy/red colour scheme and is suitable for irons, hybrids and woods. It suits golfers who want secure all-weather control and a lighter, more relaxed grip pressure.
Two uniquely formulated compounds give the performance of two grips in one: a soft brushed cotton cord upper hand for stability and a soft rubber lower hand for enhanced feel. The cord section helps with control in the gloved hand, while the softer rubber adds touch for the lower hand.
The lower hand diameter is 4.6% larger than the original MCC, which encourages lighter grip pressure, reduced tension and increased power. The design responds to the needs of the 70+ percent of Tour players who build up their grips to reduce hand tension.
The moisture-wicking cotton fibres in the upper section help maintain a stable hold when conditions are damp or humid, so the grip stays dependable through the round.
