ITTEC Duchell Gold Rake training aid
Description
ITTEC Duchell Gold Rake training aid
The Duchell Gold Rake is the market's most popular hand rake for golf course bunkers, trusted by greenkeepers and club managers worldwide. Manufactured by Duchell B.V. and distributed by ITTEC, it combines a lightweight aluminium handle with a cleverly engineered head to deliver effortless, consistent sand grooming after every shot. Whether you maintain a prestigious championship layout or a busy municipal course, the Gold Rake sets the standard for bunker presentation and player experience.
- 120° ergonomic handle curve – keeps the grip above the ground and free from sand contamination at all times.
- Lightweight aluminium handle – reduces user fatigue during prolonged raking sessions on the course.
- Wide 58 cm raking width – covers large bunker surfaces quickly and efficiently with fewer strokes.
- Two-piece round head design – the clever, strong head shape (two round halves) delivers a smooth, even finish in the sand.
- Rubber-reinforced head-to-handle connection – absorbs impact and ensures long-lasting durability under heavy daily use.
- Supplied with attachment screw – ready to mount straight out of the box, no additional hardware required.
- Golfer-friendly geometry – the angled handle keeps the shaft clear of players' legs, making raking natural and comfortable.
120° Ergonomic Curve
The Gold Rake's handle is bent at a precisely calculated 120° angle. This geometry ensures the grip stays elevated above the bunker surface throughout the raking motion, keeping it clean and dry. Crucially, the angled shaft naturally clears the golfer's legs, so raking feels fluid and requires no awkward adjustment of stance.
Robust Head Construction
The head is formed from two robust round halves that interlock to create a strong, unified raking surface 58 cm wide. A rubber-reinforced joint at the neck absorbs the stress of daily use, preventing premature wear at the most vulnerable connection point. The result is a rake head that holds its shape season after season.
