Description

MacGregor DCT3000 ladies golf 7-SW set, graphite, cart bag

Since 1897, MacGregor has been delivering high-quality golf equipment to players of every level — from enthusiastic beginners to the greatest champions in the history of the game. The DCT3000 is a premium ladies golf set that brings together top-quality components, modern game-improvement technology, and a fresh, coordinated design. Purpose-built for right-handed female golfers who are new to the game or building their skills, this complete 9-club set pairs specially engineered, forgiving clubheads with lightweight graphite shafts to help you swing faster, hit straighter, and enjoy every round more.

Every club in the MacGregor DCT3000 set has been designed with balanced, universal heads that maximise forgiveness, accuracy, and distance. The lightweight graphite shafts with Ladies flex promote higher swing speeds without sacrificing control — a combination that makes this set equally rewarding for beginners stepping onto the course for the first time and for recreational golfers looking for a reliable, well-matched bag of clubs. The irons run from the 7-iron through to the sand wedge, covering every mid-range and short-game shot you will encounter on the course.

Key Features

  • 460cc Pure Titanium Driver (13°): Oversized pure titanium head with high MOI delivers maximum forgiveness and a large sweetspot for confident, straight tee shots.
  • Stainless Steel #3 Fairway Wood: Shallow-face, low-profile head launches the ball consistently high and straight from the fairway, rough, or tee with excellent MOI.
  • 24° Stainless Steel Hybrid (#3): Replaces hard-to-hit long irons by combining fairway wood shape with iron playability, adding height and making it easy to get the ball airborne from any lie.
  • 431 Stainless Steel Irons (7–SW): Cavity-back irons with oversized heads and perimeter weighting deliver extreme forgiveness across the full face for explosive distance and easy launch.
  • High-MOI Mallet Putter: Mallet putter with high MOI and a built-in alignment aid for confident, consistent putting from day one.
  • Lightweight Graphite Shafts — Ladies Flex: All clubs fitted with ultralight graphite shafts in Ladies flex to maximise swing speed and promote a higher, softer ball flight.
  • 4-Way Cart Bag Included: Durable MacGregor luxury nylon cart bag with a 4-way divider top, multiple pockets, accented zips, and quick-grab handles — designed for trolley use without legs.
  • Matching Headcovers: Coordinated headcovers included for the driver, fairway wood, and hybrid to protect your clubs during transport and storage.
  • Right-Hand Specific: Every club in this set is purpose-built for right-handed golfers, ensuring a natural, comfortable swing and consistent ball-striking from the start.

Technology in Detail

460cc Pure Titanium Driver (13°)

The MacGregor DCT3000 driver features a full 460cc pure titanium head — the maximum legal head volume — designed to produce exceptional ball speed and distance even on off-centre strikes. At 13° of loft, it is engineered specifically for ladies who need extra help getting the ball airborne quickly and maintaining carry distance. The high MOI (Moment of Inertia) construction resists twisting at impact, so mis-hits remain on target and lose minimal distance. A large sweetspot combined with the lightweight graphite Ladies flex shaft means more of your swing energy is transferred directly to the ball, sending it further down the fairway with every tee shot. A matching headcover is included.

Stainless Steel #3 Fairway Wood

The #3 fairway wood features a low-profile, shallow-face stainless steel head that sits cleanly behind the ball whether you are hitting from the fairway, rough, or a tee. The low centre of gravity naturally promotes a high ball flight, making it far easier for ladies to achieve the carry and distance they need from longer shots. High MOI throughout the head helps to keep shots straight even when contact is not perfectly centred, giving you consistent, reliable performance from any part of the course. Whether you are hitting a long second shot on a par-5 or laying up on a tight par-4, this fairway wood gives you the height and control to play with confidence. A matching headcover is included.

24° Stainless Steel Hybrid (#3)

The 24° hybrid steps in to replace the notoriously difficult-to-hit #3 long iron that challenges even experienced players. The stainless steel hybrid head combines the compact shape of a fairway wood with the playability of an iron, producing a naturally higher, softer ball flight that is easy to control from a variety of lies. A wide, rounded sole glides smoothly through varying turf conditions and rough, reducing the risk of digging or fat shots. Whether you are approaching a long par-4, laying up on a par-5, or hitting from a challenging lie in the rough, this hybrid gives you confidence and consistency where a long iron would be daunting. A matching headcover is included.

431 Stainless Steel Cavity-Back Irons (7–SW)

The irons in the DCT3000 set are crafted from 431 stainless steel and feature an oversized cavity-back design with full perimeter weighting. Perimeter weighting redistributes mass around the edges of the clubhead, dramatically increasing the effective sweetspot and reducing the effect of off-centre hits — ideal for developing players still building consistency. The low centre of gravity helps the ball climb easily into the air, producing a high, steep angle of descent that holds the green. The set runs from the 7-iron through pitching wedge (PW) and sand wedge (SW), covering every mid-to-short-range shot you will encounter on the course. Graphite Ladies flex shafts keep the overall weight low for effortless, faster swing speeds.

High-MOI Mallet Putter

The mallet putter included in the DCT3000 set is built around a high-MOI head geometry that resists twisting through the stroke, keeping the face square even when the ball is struck slightly off the centre line. An easy-to-read alignment aid on the top of the putter head makes it straightforward to aim accurately at the target, helping you start the ball on the intended line consistently. The combination of the forgiving head design and alignment technology means that even beginners will feel confident standing over short and medium-length putts from day one. No headcover is included with the putter.

MacGregor Cart Bag — 4-Way Divider

The DCT3000 set ships with a dedicated MacGregor cart bag constructed from durable luxury nylon and designed without legs, making it perfectly proportioned to sit securely on a trolley or golf cart. The 4-way divider top keeps your clubs organised and protected from rattling or scratching during play. Multiple spacious pockets with accented zips provide ample storage for balls, tees, gloves, accessories, and personal items. Quick-grab handles on the bag make lifting and positioning easy, while the overall design is finished in a coordinated style that matches the aesthetics of the clubs themselves.
