Odyssey's all-new S2S TRI-HOT multi-material construction represents a genuine breakthrough in Zero-Torque putter design. By eliminating shaft lean and positioning the shaft closer to the face than other putters in its class, the S2S TRI-HOT advances the entire Zero-Torque category in a way that feels completely natural at address. The S2S TRI-HOT #7 SB Cruiser goes one step further — its Single Bend shaft makes this putter heel-shafted, unlike most Zero-Torque designs, while the longer, heavier Cruiser configuration provides counterbalance that maximises MOI, enhances stability, and promotes a consistent, repeatable stroke. Add Odyssey's most advanced insert ever, the AI-designed two-layer urethane Ai-DUAL, and the result is a putter that delivers consistent ball speed across the entire face, improved forward roll, and exceptional feel. Includes headcover.
By strategically combining aluminium, steel, and over 140 grams of tungsten, Odyssey's engineers have created a Zero-Torque putter with more than 80% of its weight positioned below the topline. This forward centre-of-gravity placement allows the hosel to be located much closer to the face than conventional Zero-Torque designs. The result is a putter that sets up square naturally — no forward press required — eliminating one of the biggest barriers golfers face when adopting a Zero-Torque design. The three-material TRI-HOT system delivers a premium blend of high-density weighting and lightweight structure that optimises every gram for performance.
Most Zero-Torque putters are centre-shafted, which can feel foreign to golfers accustomed to a traditional heel-shafted setup. The S2S TRI-HOT #7 SB Cruiser solves this with a Single Bend shaft configuration that shifts the shaft toward the heel, delivering a more familiar and intuitive look at address. Zero-Torque performance is fully preserved — the shaft still enters the head on the topline and is positioned closer to the face than traditional designs — but the golfer sees a clean, conventional address position. This makes the S2S TRI-HOT #7 SB Cruiser the most approachable Zero-Torque putter Odyssey has ever produced.
Developed through the same artificial-intelligence modelling used in Callaway's driver designs — with 15,000 AI iterations and 72 physical prototypes — the Ai-DUAL insert is the most advanced face technology Odyssey has ever produced. Its dual-layer urethane construction pairs a soft outer layer, which generates an outstanding feel at impact, with a firm inner layer that maintains consistent ball speed across the entire face including off-centre contacts. Enhanced forward roll performance is built into every strike, helping the ball start its journey on the intended line immediately after impact. The combination of sophisticated AI engineering and urethane craftsmanship produces a feel that is both soft and lively.
The new Forward Roll Design (F.R.D.) grooves are deeper and more aggressively cut than any previous Odyssey groove pattern. Set at a precise 19° slope, these grooves work in direct conjunction with the Ai-DUAL dual-layer insert to improve forward roll both up and down the face. The steeper angle imparts topspin on the ball more quickly after impact, helping the ball hug the green surface and begin a true, consistent roll at the earliest possible moment. The synergy between the F.R.D. groove geometry and the Ai-DUAL insert represents a meaningful step forward in rolling performance for Odyssey putters.
The Cruiser configuration is engineered for golfers who want maximum stability and a putter that virtually swings itself. The longer shaft is paired with a heavier 385 g head to create a counterbalance effect that dramatically increases the Moment of Inertia (MOI) of the entire club. This elevated MOI reduces the influence of any wrist or hand movement during the stroke, promoting a smoother, more pendulum-like motion. The configuration also benefits players who prefer a longer grip position, and the extended length gives more flexibility to find the most comfortable and stable grip placement on the 17" Cruiser grip.
The 17" Cruiser grip is considerably longer than a standard putter grip, designed specifically to complement the extended shaft length and counterbalance weighting of the Cruiser configuration. Its extra length gives golfers the freedom to position their hands anywhere along the grip to find their optimal stable and comfortable position — whether they prefer a traditional, low-hands, or arm-lock style of grip. The longer grip pairs perfectly with the Odyssey S2S Tri-Hot SL 140 Stepless Black SB Steel shaft to deliver a unified, counterbalanced feel that makes the putter easy to control and simple to repeat.
