Technology in Detail
Fast Twist Thread System
The Fast Twist thread system allows you to swap out worn cleats in seconds — no special tools required. A simple twist locks each cleat securely into the shoe receptacle, eliminating any wobble or play during your swing. The same twist in reverse releases the cleat cleanly, making end-of-season replacement or mid-round swaps quick and hassle-free. This system is particularly valued by golfers who want to maintain peak traction without a lengthy maintenance routine.
Pulsar Traction Design
The Pulsar cleat profile is engineered to bite into the turf effectively while remaining gentle on putting greens and clubhouse floors. Multiple traction points spread the load across the outsole, reducing pressure concentration and improving overall stability throughout the swing. The design strikes a balance between aggressive grip during dynamic movements — such as the downswing and follow-through — and smooth, comfortable walking between shots.
FJ Official Compatibility
These cleats carry the FJ Official designation, confirming they are engineered to the exact specification required by FootJoy Fast Twist shoe receptacles. Using officially compatible replacement cleats helps preserve the structural integrity of your shoe's outsole threading and ensures the connection remains secure throughout the cleat's lifespan. Always verify your specific FootJoy model accepts Fast Twist cleats before purchasing.
All-Round Comfort
Beyond raw traction, the Pulsar cleats are designed with golfer comfort in mind. The cleat geometry is optimised to flex naturally with foot movement, reducing hot spots and fatigue across an 18-hole round. The black and grey finish ensures they remain visually discreet beneath a wide range of shoe styles, maintaining a professional appearance without drawing attention away from your footwear.
