The FastLayer Core uses a gradual compression change from a soft center to a firmer outer layer, boosting ball speed and distance. For this generation, compression has been slightly reduced to promote longer, straighter shots with low-lofted clubs, while keeping a softer, more responsive feel on iron and wedge shots.
The Spin Skin coating is made from highly flexible molecular bonds that let the ball dig deeper into the clubface grooves. This increases spin, control, and the ball's ability to stop quickly on the green, especially on approach shots and around the putting surface.
The 338 aerodynamic dimple pattern improves the ball's flight characteristics: lower drag allows for a more penetrating launch and a straighter trajectory, while increased lift helps the ball stay airborne longer. The result is greater distance and a more stable flight path across a wide range of conditions.
