Description

U.S. Kids Golf TS3-66 (167+cm) V5 junior fairway wood 3W-17°

The U.S. Kids Golf TS3-66 V5 Launch 3-Wood is a Tour Series (TS3) fairway wood designed specifically for junior golfers of 167 cm (66 in.) and taller. Built to the same exacting standards as adult equipment but engineered for growing athletes, it delivers exceptional distance, improved launch, and outstanding forgiveness — giving young players every advantage on the fairway.

The TS3 Launch 3-Wood features a thin crown and face design that maximises ball speed off the face. A repositioned Centre of Gravity (CG) promotes an optimal launch angle and increases forgiveness on off-centre hits, so mishits still travel far and straight. The V5 generation club head is 5% lighter than its adult counterpart, helping junior golfers generate greater swing speed and distance without sacrificing control.

Key Features

  • Tour Series (TS3) Design: The TS3 Launch 3-Wood from U.S. Kids Golf's most advanced Tour Series line, built for skilled junior players at the 66-in. (167+ cm) height range.
  • V5 Model — 5% Lighter Head: The V5 generation club head is 5% lighter than an adult club head, enabling juniors to swing faster and generate more distance.
  • Thin Crown & Face: A thin crown and face construction delivers maximum ball speed at impact for longer shots from the fairway or tee.
  • Repositioned Centre of Gravity: A strategically moved CG creates optimal launch conditions and maximises forgiveness on off-centre strikes.
  • 17-4 Stainless Steel Club Head: The durable 17-4 stainless steel head provides a consistent, responsive feel at impact while standing up to years of play.
  • J-Flex Graphite Shaft — Frequency Matched & Spined: The premium J-Flex graphite shaft is frequency matched and spined for consistent performance and maximum distance on every swing.
  • Low Flex Point: A low flex point in the shaft promotes an optimal ball flight trajectory, helping junior golfers achieve the height and carry distance they need.
  • Appropriately Sized Grip: The club comes fitted with a junior-appropriate grip for comfortable, confident hand placement, with replacement grips available separately.
  • Headcover Included: A matching headcover is included to protect the club head during transport and storage.

Technology in Detail

Thin Crown & Face for Maximum Ball Speed

The TS3 Launch 3-Wood is built around a thin crown and face that flex efficiently at the moment of impact. This engineering approach transfers more energy from the club head to the ball, resulting in higher ball speeds compared to a thicker, heavier construction. Junior golfers benefit directly from faster ball speeds without needing to swing harder, making every shot from the fairway more effective.

Repositioned Centre of Gravity for Forgiveness & Launch

By repositioning the Centre of Gravity deeper and lower within the head, U.S. Kids Golf engineers have achieved two important outcomes in a single design change: improved forgiveness on off-centre hits, and an optimal launch angle for maximum carry. The result is a club that rewards good swings with impressive distance and softens the penalty for slightly mis-hit shots — ideal for juniors still developing their technique.

V5 Head — Engineered 5% Lighter Than Adult

The V5 generation represents U.S. Kids Golf's commitment to right-sized equipment for junior players. The club head is 5% lighter than its adult equivalent, which directly translates into faster swing speeds for growing players. Greater swing speed means more distance and a better overall ball flight, all while the club feels proportionate and comfortable in a junior golfer's hands. This approach ensures junior players are never disadvantaged by using improperly weighted adult equipment.

J-Flex Graphite Shaft — Frequency Matched & Spined

The premium J-Flex graphite shaft is carefully frequency matched and spined to ensure consistent, repeatable performance on every swing. Frequency matching means all shafts in the TS3 range share the same flex profile, so juniors can count on a predictable feel as they build their swing. The low flex point is positioned to help players achieve an optimal, high-launching ball flight that carries further through the air — a critical advantage on longer approach shots and tee shots with a fairway wood.

Height-Optimised Fit for 167+ cm Junior Players

U.S. Kids Golf's size-by-height fitting system ensures that junior players receive clubs that are perfectly proportioned for their body. The TS3-66 is designed for players in the 66–69 in. (approximately 167–175 cm) height range. At 42.25 in. (107 cm) in finished length, the club promotes correct posture, a natural stance, and the development of sound swing mechanics — all fundamental building blocks for a junior golfer's long-term improvement.

Right-Sized Grip for Junior Hands

Good grip technique starts with a grip that fits. The TS3-66 fairway wood comes equipped with a junior-specific grip that is correctly sized for smaller hands, promoting the right amount of grip pressure and finger placement from the very first round. Replacement grips are also available separately from U.S. Kids Golf, so the club can be re-gripped as the player grows and develops their preference.
