The treatment used is fluorine-free, making it a more environmentally responsible choice while delivering the same outstanding weather protection.
UA Storm is a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish applied directly to the SweaterFleece fabric. It causes water to bead up and roll off the surface rather than soaking in, so the garment stays light and dry even in drizzle or light rain. Crucially, the treatment is breathable — moisture vapour from your body can still escape outward, preventing the clammy feeling that waterproof membranes can cause. The fluorine-free formulation meets modern environmental standards without any compromise in performance.
SweaterFleece is engineered to look like a classic knit sweater on the outside while performing like technical fleece on the inside. The subtle textured exterior gives the garment a refined, smart-casual appearance, while the soft, brushed interior creates a warm microclimate against the skin.
