Description

Callaway Quantum Max OS Men's Hybrid + Headcover

The Callaway Quantum Max OS is a game-improvement hybrid engineered for players who want maximum forgiveness and consistent ball flight. An oversized head profile, high MOI, and a subtle draw-bias setup work together to keep shots straighter — reducing right misses — while promoting an easy, high launch. Whether you're replacing long irons or simply want a club that performs reliably from the fairway and rough alike, the Quantum Max OS delivers confidence at address and repeatability shot after shot.

Best suited for:

  • Higher-handicap and recreational golfers looking for the easiest hybrid to hit
  • Golfers who struggle with a slice or a persistent right miss
  • Anyone who wants a higher, more confident ball flight instead of long irons — especially from a variety of lies

Key Features

Oversized + Draw Bias

Intentionally larger profile with a mild draw bias to reduce slices and help get the ball airborne more easily.

High MOI Forgiveness

Exceptional stability at impact ensures that off-centre strikes still produce a usable ball flight in both direction and distance.

Next Generation Ai-Optimized Face

AI-tuned face flexibility delivers consistent speed, spin, launch, and accuracy across the entire face based on real hybrid impact data.

New Step Sole Design

Reduced ground contact for cleaner contact, more consistent centre-face strikes, and a squared face through impact for better control.

Technology in Detail

Oversized Head + Draw Bias

The Quantum Max OS features a deliberately larger head profile that instils confidence at address and makes it easier to square the face at impact. The mild draw-bias weighting shifts the centre of gravity towards the heel, which helps close the face slightly through the hitting zone. The result is straighter ball flights for golfers who fight a slice or a chronic right miss, and an overall easier experience getting the ball airborne consistently from any lie.

High MOI — Maximum Forgiveness

The oversized construction distributes mass to the perimeter of the clubhead, producing a high Moment of Inertia (MOI). This means the head resists twisting on off-centre hits far more effectively than a traditional hybrid or long iron. Even mishits towards the toe or heel retain much of their intended speed and direction, giving higher-handicap players the confidence that an imperfect swing will still produce a playable shot with acceptable distance and accuracy.

Next Generation Ai-Optimized Face

Callaway's advanced AI modelling analyses thousands of real-world hybrid impact patterns to fine-tune the thickness and flex of every millimetre of the face. The outcome is smarter face flexibility that generates more consistent ball speed, optimised spin, higher launch angles, and tighter shot dispersion across the entire hitting surface — not just the sweet spot. Golfers benefit from greater distance and accuracy even when contact is slightly off-centre, making this technology a core reason the Quantum Max OS is so forgiving and easy to use.

New Step Sole Design

The redesigned Step Sole reduces the surface area of the sole that contacts the turf, allowing the head to glide through grass more efficiently and producing cleaner, more consistent ball contact. The reshaped heel section adds structural stability through the hitting zone and helps keep the face square at impact, translating directly into better directional control. Whether you're playing from the fairway, a tight lie, or the rough, the Step Sole design helps the club interact with the ground more predictably so you can strike the centre of the face more often.
