The new slim-profile ECCO W GOLF BIOM® C4 combines breathable comfort and innovative performance with a contemporary feminine sneaker-inspired look. To deliver 360° breathability and 100% waterproof protection, its GORE-TEX SURROUND® construction is paired with EXHAUST GRID channels that direct airflow towards the sole of your foot. This hybrid shoe is crafted from ECCO Performance Leather and a super-elastic sock-like mesh upper, set on the advanced ECCO MTN GRIP outsole and engineered with BIOM® NATURAL MOTION® technology for a ground-close, natural feel throughout every round.
The GORE-TEX SURROUND® construction is the foundation of the Biom C4's outstanding all-weather performance. Unlike conventional waterproof membranes that only protect from the top and sides, GORE-TEX SURROUND® wraps moisture management around the entire foot, including the underfoot area. This is made possible by the EXHAUST GRID channel system, which actively routes warm, moist air away from the sole of the foot and outward through the upper. BIOM® NATURAL MOTION® is Ecco's philosophy of designing footwear that works in harmony with the natural biomechanics of the foot. By positioning the foot closer to the ground, the technology creates a more stable base and increases your proprioceptive awareness of the surface beneath you. This ground-close feeling translates directly to greater control over your balance and weight transfer during the golf swing. The design encourages the foot's natural movement patterns, reducing fatigue across an 18-hole round and supporting a more consistent athletic posture from address through to follow-through.
The ECCO MTN GRIP outsole is engineered specifically to meet the varied demands of the golf course. It is divided into three functional zones: a traction zone that grips the turf securely at heel strike and toe-off, a stability zone that supports the arch and midfoot during weight transfer, and a rotational support zone that allows smooth, controlled pivoting through impact. This zoned approach means the outsole provides the right type of grip in the right place at every stage of the swing, without sacrificing comfort during the long walk between shots. The spikeless design also makes the shoe versatile enough for use on and off the course.
The upper combines ECCO Performance Leather, produced in Ecco's own tanneries using proprietary tanning processes, with a super-elastic mesh sock-like construction. The leather provides structure, durability and a premium aesthetic, while the mesh element wraps the foot in a second-skin fit that adapts to the natural shape and movement of the foot throughout the round. Together they create a hybrid shoe that feels as comfortable as an athletic trainer from the very first wear, without any significant break-in period. The sneaker-inspired silhouette ensures the Biom C4 looks equally at home on the course and in the clubhouse.
ECCO FLUIDFORM™ is a unique direct-injection midsole technology in which liquid polyurethane is injected directly around the last and upper, bonding the midsole to the upper without the use of adhesives or cements. This process creates a shoe with an exceptionally natural, anatomically accurate shape that contours to the foot rather than forcing the foot to conform to a rigid mold. The result is immediate out-of-the-box comfort, outstanding durability, and a responsive underfoot feel. FLUIDFORM™ construction also reduces the overall weight of the shoe, making it an excellent choice for golfers who prefer to walk the course.
The removable OrthoLite® footbed provides a premium cushioning platform inside the shoe, offering long-lasting impact absorption that does not compress or lose its resilience over time. OrthoLite® foam is engineered to retain its loft and cushioning properties through extended use, ensuring the shoe remains just as comfortable in its hundredth round as in its first. The open-cell foam structure of the footbed also actively wicks moisture away from the underfoot surface and promotes airflow within the shoe, complementing the external breathability of the GORE-TEX SURROUND® system. The footbed is fully removable, allowing it to be aired out and replaced if required.
