At the heart of the Ecco LT1 Boa is the brand-new ECCO LYTR advanced rebound foam, which is embedded directly into the outsole using ECCO's proprietary FLUIDFORM™ direct-injection technology. Developed over more than three decades of footwear engineering, FLUIDFORM™ eliminates the need for glues or stitching between the midsole and upper — instead, the cushioning PU material is cast seamlessly into the shoe form. The LYTR foam sits smoothly within the midsole alongside soft PU, delivering a contoured, anatomically supportive fit that cushions every step while maintaining a lightweight feel. The integral bond between the sole and the leather upper is both more flexible and more durable than conventional constructions, ensuring the shoe holds its shape and performance over the long term.

E-DTS™ NET Outsole

The E-DTS™ NET (Ecco Dynamic Traction System NET) outsole represents a bold reimagining of the classic E-DTS® design that golfers have trusted for years. The NET architecture features an intricate network of more than 800 traction angles across the outsole surface, providing multi-directional grip on a wide variety of course conditions — from dry fairways to damp rough. The outsole material itself is constructed from a resilient thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), which keeps overall shoe weight low while delivering impressive flexibility and impact absorption. Bonded to the inside of the upper is a waterproof membrane that creates an effective moisture barrier, keeping feet dry in wet rough and on dewy morning fairways without sacrificing breathability. Together, the leather and membrane create an upper that performs as well in warm summer conditions as it does on cooler, wetter days.

Removable OrthoLite® Insole

The Ecco LT1 Boa features a removable OrthoLite® insole that provides an additional layer of long-lasting cushioning and moisture management. OrthoLite® open-cell foam is renowned in the footwear industry for its ability to maintain its cushioning properties over extended periods of use, unlike standard foam insoles that can compress and lose effectiveness over time. The breathable construction of the insole also helps to regulate temperature inside the shoe, reducing moisture build-up during a long round. When removed, the additional interior space allows golfers with wider feet or those using custom orthotics to achieve a more comfortable and accommodating fit.

BOA® Fit System
