The Eyeline Golf Slot Trainer Pair is a two-piece putting training aid that helps you groove both your putter path and your face alignment at impact. Developed with Jim McLean and his son Jon, it gives you clear visual and physical feedback so you can start the ball on your intended line more consistently.
Where the ball rolls is influenced by the path of the putter and the aim of the putter face at impact. This set tackles both: the Putter Path Trainer helps you build your ideal stroke path, while the Ball Path Trainer provides gates that test your face angle and starting line. It is thin, durable and fits easily in your golf bag for warm-ups before every round.
The Ball Path Trainer gives you two important gates that help ensure the starting line of the ball. When the ball starts on the intended line, you have your best chance of finding the bottom of the cup. Roll the ball through the ball gate and you know your start line is true.
The putter gate and face line help you align the putter properly. Swing the putter cleanly through the gate and you are striking the ball from the sweet spot. It is a simple, instant check on both alignment and strike quality.
The ball gate tests whether the putter face was square at impact. If you clip a tee, the face has turned during the stroke, so you know exactly what to adjust. Prefer to practise indoors or add some visual intimidation? Place two golf balls on the larger holes at the opening instead of tees.
The Putter Path Trainer is a template for setting up your ideal practice station. Line it up to the cup, mark the correct face alignment, then remove the trainer to reveal a perfect line for your putter. Insert tees in the slots to create a path for your putter to swing along, using one tee to reinforce a feel or all four corners for a full path.
Both pieces are made from ultra-durable PVC just 1/16 inch thick, so they do not change the height of the ball or interfere with your stroke. The ball sits on the green, not on plastic, keeping the roll true to real conditions.
The set fits easily into your golf bag and comes with a carrying bag. That makes it simple to prepare for your best putting practice and warm-up before a round.
