Technology in Detail

Leather Palm – Superior Grip & Feel

The leather palm of the FootJoy FJ Junior provides an optimal wearing sensation and reliable traction on the club grip. Leather is the material of choice for serious gloves because it conforms naturally to the shape of the hand over time, delivering a second-skin fit that instils confidence at address. Even for junior players still developing their swing mechanics, a consistent, non-slip grip is fundamental to building correct technique.

Junior Ergonomic Fit

For young golfers, the perfect fit starts with the right glove. The FootJoy FJ Junior is engineered specifically for smaller, developing hands, with a cut that avoids excess material bunching at the fingers or palm. A well-fitted glove reduces distractions during the swing and allows junior players to focus entirely on their game rather than on equipment discomfort.

Soft Microfibre Back – All-Round Comfort

The soft microfibre back of the glove ensures a consistently comfortable fit round after round. Microfibre is breathable and lightweight, helping to regulate hand temperature and moisture during play. This means junior golfers can wear the glove for extended practice sessions or full rounds without experiencing the discomfort or stiffness that can come with heavier or less breathable materials.

Flexible Stretch – Adapts to Growing Hands

The back of the glove features exceptional fit with flexible stretch across the knuckles, specifically designed to accommodate the growing hands of junior players. This dynamic stretch ensures the glove moves naturally with the hand through all phases of the swing — from takeaway to follow-through — without restricting movement or creating pressure points. As juniors grow, the stretch construction helps maintain a snug fit for longer.

Snap-On Ball Marker

Every FootJoy FJ Junior glove comes complete with a snap-on ball marker conveniently attached to the Velcro closure. The ball marker provides a quick and easy solution for marking your ball on the putting green, so young golfers always have one to hand without needing to search through their bag. It is a small but thoughtful detail that makes the on-course experience smoother for junior players and their parents alike.
