Technology in Detail

Premium Waterproof Leather Upper

The FootJoy Links is crafted from soft, high-quality leather that provides dependable waterproof protection to keep your feet dry throughout your round. The leather is carefully treated to maintain its supple feel while resisting moisture penetration, even in wet morning conditions. Despite its waterproof credentials, the upper remains breathable, helping to regulate foot temperature and reduce fatigue over 18 holes. The durable construction ensures the shoe retains its shape and good looks round after round.

Fit-Bed® Cushioned Insole

The lightweight PU Fit-Bed® insole is engineered to provide soft, responsive cushioning directly underfoot, making every step feel comfortable from the first hole to the last. It delivers targeted support in the heel area, reducing impact and minimising fatigue during a full round of golf. The anatomically shaped footbed conforms to the natural contours of the foot, ensuring a secure and personalised fit. This technology reflects FootJoy's decades of expertise in producing comfortable golf footwear trusted by touring professionals and recreational golfers alike.

DuraMax Outsole

The DuraMax rubber outsole is specially formulated to deliver exceptional grip and stability across a variety of course surfaces and conditions. Its spikeless traction pattern provides consistent traction through the swing and during walking, without the need for traditional cleats. The durable compound is engineered to resist wear even after prolonged use on hard paths, cart tracks, and clubhouse floors, making the Links shoe a true all-day companion. The outsole's flexibility also contributes to a more natural, comfortable walking motion.

Lifestyle Meets Performance Design

The FootJoy Links combines a classic, elegant silhouette with modern performance features, making it suitable for both on-course and off-course wear. The roomy toe box ensures natural toe splay during the swing, while the slightly narrower heel provides a secure hold that prevents unwanted slippage. The silver/white colourway offers a clean, stylish aesthetic that pairs easily with a wide range of golf apparel. Whether you are heading to the practice range, playing a casual round with friends, or simply enjoying a walk, the Links delivers effortless style and reliable comfort.
