The Golf Pride MCC Plus4™ is the tour-proven MultiCompound hybrid grip trusted by professionals and serious amateurs around the world. Engineered with a distinctly larger lower hand, this Midsize version in dark red and white delivers a powerful combination of all-weather control and effortless swing speed. Suitable for irons, hybrids, and woods, it is the grip of choice for golfers who want less tension in their hands and more power in every swing.
The lower hand of the MCC Plus4 has a 4.6% larger outer diameter compared to the original MCC grip. This reduced taper profile replicates the effect of four extra wraps of tape, a setup preferred by a large share of Tour professionals. The result is lighter grip pressure, less arm and hand tension, and a more powerful, controlled swing tempo without any need for additional tape build-up.
The upper hand section uses Brushed Cotton Cord (BCT®) - moisture-wicking cotton fibers fused into a soft rubber compound - for maximum stability in warm, wet, or humid conditions. The lower hand uses a proprietary soft performance rubber that delivers responsive feel and comfort at impact. Together, these two materials create a true hybrid grip optimized from butt to mouth.
Engineered surface patterns, including pebbled zones and plus-sign motifs, are strategically placed across the grip to maximize contact area and friction. This ensures a confident, non-slip connection between your hands and the club regardless of weather conditions or perspiration levels.
The Midsize variant adds approximately 1/16 inch to the outside diameter over a standard grip. This is ideal for golfers with medium-to-large hands who want reduced grip pressure without building up the shaft with extra tape layers. Combined with Plus4 Technology, the Midsize profile offers a particularly expansive lower-hand feel, making it one of the most comfortable and powerful options in the Golf Pride lineup.
