Technology in Detail
Premium Microfibre Construction
The Srixon Tri-Fold MicroFibre Towel is made from high-quality microfibre that is both exceptionally soft against your hands and remarkably tough for everyday on-course use. The ultra-fine fibres penetrate into the grooves of your clubface and the surface of your golf ball to lift away dirt, grass, and moisture far more effectively than a standard cotton towel. The material is designed to resist pilling, so the towel maintains its smooth, clean appearance round after round. It is gentle on delicate finishes and paintwork while still delivering a thorough clean every time.
Deep Waffle-Weave Structure
The distinctive waffle-weave texture gives this towel a significantly larger effective surface area compared to a flat-woven fabric. Each raised pocket in the weave traps and holds debris, pulling it away from the surface being cleaned rather than simply smearing it around. This structure also increases the towel's overall absorbency and helps it dry more quickly between uses, so it is ready to perform again immediately. The deep texture is equally effective on wet or dry cleaning tasks, making it a truly versatile tool on the course.
400% Absorption Capacity
Thanks to the combination of premium microfibre and the waffle-weave construction, this towel can absorb up to 400% of its own weight in water — a performance level that far exceeds what ordinary golf towels can achieve. This extraordinary absorbency means you can tackle wet grips, muddy clubfaces, and rain-soaked balls with confidence, knowing the towel will not become saturated quickly. Even after heavy use, it continues to pull moisture away efficiently, helping you maintain a firm grip and consistent ball-striking throughout the round.
Tri-Fold Design
The Tri-Fold format allows the towel to be folded into three neat sections, creating a compact and tidy profile that attaches cleanly to your bag without excess bulk or drag. When unfolded, it opens to a generous 40.5 x 61 cm (16" x 24") working size — large enough to clean multiple clubs or wipe down your hands thoroughly. The folded sections also mean you always have a clean, dry surface available by simply rotating to a fresh panel, maximising the usable area of the towel throughout an 18-hole round.
