TaylorMade Qi irons embody golfing excellence for players who put precision and control first. They are designed to deliver the straightest distance in a game improvement iron, helping you keep the ball on line and flying towards the target.

Unlike many game improvement irons that favour a miss to the right, the Qi family is built around the idea that straight distance is the best distance. Every head in the set is tuned for its role, from forgiving, high-launching long irons to controlled, precise scoring clubs.

Technology in Detail

Straight Shots

The whole idea behind the Qi irons is that these clubs are designed to minimise fades and promote straighter shots. They deliver accuracy and control throughout the entire set. The Qi irons are built to control face flexion and reduce unwanted spin, so your shots fly more consistently towards the intended target.

Integrated Design System

Thanks to the Cap Back construction, an extremely fast, flexible face and an extended blade length, the foundation of Qi is maximum distance and forgiveness. Each iron in the set is then optimised to amplify the flight and spin characteristics for its intended purpose. The result is ideal gapping, strong ball speeds and consistently straighter shots from long irons to wedges.

Cap Back Design

The multi-material Cap Back™ design uses high-strength stainless steel and ultralight polymers. It blends the advantages of a hollow-body iron with those of a traditional cavity back. The construction is designed to improve face flexion and deliver maximum distance and forgiveness, while freeing up mass for better performance.

HYBRAR Echo® Damping System

The HYBRAR Echo® System absorbs unwanted vibrations, improves feel and helps maximise face flexion. Working in unison with the Cap Back design, it delivers a satisfying sound and a solid, quiet sensation at impact.

FLTD CG™

FLTD CG™ strategically positions the centre of gravity as low as possible in the longer irons and progressively shifts it higher throughout the set. This produces better launch and playability in the long irons, with increased control in the scoring clubs.
