The Titleist GT2 Driver delivers impressive distance from any impact point, extracting maximum performance through a forgiving design. Built for players who do not always find the center of the face, it combines the stability and added confidence of a high-MOI driver without sacrificing speed. The upgraded Speed Ring VFT face and breakthrough Split Mass Construction work together to produce exceptionally fast ball speeds across the entire face — on-center and off-center alike. With refined aerodynamics, SureFit hosel adjustability, and a clean look that inspires total confidence at address, the GT2 is the ideal distance and forgiveness driver for the serious male golfer.
The GT2 features a reimagined, ultra-lightweight crown construction born from a new Proprietary Matrix Polymer — a material never previously used in golf clubhead design. The tunable acoustic properties of this unique composite allow Titleist engineers to realize new material gains while maintaining the signature Titleist sound and feel. This freed up significant discretionary mass that could be repositioned in optimal locations throughout the head, enabling the GT2's breakthrough Split Mass Construction. All of this is wrapped in a clean, seamless look that inspires total confidence at address.

GT2 delivers a powerful balance of forgiveness and speed thanks to a breakthrough in internal weighting. Mass is strategically shifted to the back of the clubhead to increase MOI for better stability, while simultaneously pushing weight low and forward to optimize speed and spin. This dual-purpose mass distribution means you gain both high-MOI forgiveness on off-center strikes and the launch and spin characteristics needed for maximum distance. The result is a driver that frees you to swing with confidence, knowing the club is working with you on every shot.

Two advanced technologies work together to create the GT2's amazingly fast face. The upgraded titanium Speed Ring reinforces and stabilizes the perimeter of the clubface, producing maximum allowable ball speed in the center. Variable Face Thickness (VFT) then works across the rest of the face, discretely thinning the face to expand the sweet spot and maximize speed on mishits. The combination produces exceptionally consistent spin and launch conditions, meaning players who do not always find the center of the face will still experience fast, long ball flights shot after shot.

Improvements to the GT2's internal construction and weight distribution enabled a further optimization of the driver's aerodynamics. With a refined profile and sharper contours, the GT2 reduces drag through the swing to increase clubhead speed, translating directly into greater ball speed and distance. Crucially, these aerodynamic refinements are achieved while retaining the player-preferred, classic Titleist driver shape at address — a clean, confidence-inspiring look that has become a hallmark of the Titleist driver line.

An interchangeable rear weight allows your fitter to precisely control headweight and swingweight to produce your ideal GT2 performance and feel. Finding the right combination of weighting and shaft specifications during a fitting allows you to discover your optimal blend of launch angle, ball speed, and stability. This level of personalization means the GT2 can be fine-tuned to suit a wide range of swing profiles, from moderate speeds seeking maximum forgiveness to faster swingers who want added control alongside their distance gains.

The featured shafts for the GT2 represent a complete range of authentic, high-performance options from Tour-trusted manufacturers. Every player and every swing profile can be matched to an ideal shaft — whether you need the smooth, mid-launch feel of the Mitsubishi Tensei 1K series, the mid-spin versatility of the Project X Denali Red, or the low-launch, low-spin performance of the Project X HZRDUS Black 5G. Each shaft is carefully selected to complement the GT2's design and help you unlock your optimal combination of distance, accuracy, and feel.

The following shafts are available as standard options for the GT2 driver. Other shafts are available on request.
