Description

U.S. Kids Golf UL7-60 (152cm) W10 5-Club junior golf set + stand bag, black/maroon

The U.S. Kids Golf Ultralight 7 UL7-60 is a complete 5-club junior golf set paired with a dual-strap stand bag, sized for young players between 152 and 160 cm tall (approximately 11–12 years of age). Ultralight 7 (UL7) is the seventh generation of the legendary Ultralight line — the culmination of thousands of data points gathered using TrackMan technology and intensive product development research, resulting in the most advanced and highest-performing beginner-to-intermediate junior set U.S. Kids Golf has ever produced. Every club in the set is precisely engineered to work as a cohesive system: shaft flex, swing weight, loft, head volume, and head mass are all optimised for the specific height and developing swing speed of junior golfers in this size category, building consistent technique and long-term player development from day one.

Key Features

W10 Lightweight Heads: Club heads are 10% lighter than standard adult heads, making it significantly easier for juniors to generate clubhead speed and launch the ball confidently into the air.
TrackMan-Engineered Performance: Every specification in the UL7 line was refined using thousands of real swing data points captured with TrackMan launch-monitor technology, ensuring each club truly fits the junior athlete rather than being a scaled-down adult club.
Seventh-Generation Ultralight Design: UL7 builds on six previous generations of U.S. Kids Golf Ultralight clubs, incorporating the latest aerodynamic shaping, head geometry, and shaft technology for higher ball speed, more distance, and improved versatility.
J-Flex Graphite Shafts: All clubs except the Sandhills Putter feature lightweight graphite composite shafts with a junior-specific J-Flex profile, frequency-matched across the entire set for a consistent feel and repeatable swing from club to club.
Optimised for 152–160 cm Players: Loft angles, lie angles, shaft lengths, head volumes, and swing weights are all calibrated for juniors of 152 to 160 cm in height — preventing swing compensations that inhibit long-term development.
Complete 5-Club Configuration: The set contains a Driver, 4 Hybrid, 7 Iron, Pitching Wedge, and Sandhills Putter — everything a beginner junior needs to cover the full range of shots on the course.
Dual-Strap Stand Bag Included: The matching black/maroon stand bag features dual carry straps for comfortable transport and integrated stand legs, keeping the bag upright on the course at all times.
Expandable System: Additional individual clubs (3 Wood, 5 Iron, 6 Iron, 8 Iron, 9 Iron, Sand Wedge) are available separately, so the set can grow alongside the player as their game progresses.

Technology in Detail

TrackMan-Engineered Club Design

Every specification in the UL7 line is the direct result of analysing thousands of real junior swing data points captured via TrackMan launch-monitor technology. This rigorous data-driven process means that loft angles, shaft weights, flex profiles, and head masses are not simply scaled from adult clubs — they are purpose-built for the height, strength, and swing mechanics of junior golfers. The outcome is a set that maximises ball speed and distance for developing players, helping them build proper technique from the very first round.

W10 — 10% Lighter Club Heads

The W10 specification means every iron, hybrid, and driver head in this set is 10% lighter than the equivalent adult club. This reduction in head mass is carefully balanced against the need for sufficient inertia to transfer energy efficiently into the ball. The result is a set that young players can swing at full speed without strain, generating the clubhead velocity needed to launch the ball higher, farther, and straighter — building confidence and accelerating skill development.

Size-Matched Fitting System

U.S. Kids Golf pioneered junior fitting by height rather than age. The UL7-60 set is precisely engineered for players standing 152–160 cm tall (60–63 inches, approximately 11–12 years old). Within this size, swing weight, shaft flex, shaft length, loft, and lie angle all work together as a unified system to promote a consistent, repeatable swing across every club in the bag. Using clubs from a different brand or moving up a size too soon disrupts this balance and can create swing faults that slow long-term development.

J-Flex Graphite Shaft Technology

All clubs in the UL7-60 set — Driver, Hybrid, 7 Iron, and Pitching Wedge — are fitted with lightweight graphite composite shafts featuring a junior-specific J-Flex profile. Graphite construction keeps overall club weight low while providing the torsional stiffness needed for consistent shot direction. The shafts are frequency-matched across the entire set, meaning every club feels identical at impact and responds in the same way, helping young players develop muscle memory and a repeatable swing motion. Only the Sandhills Putter features a steel shaft for the precision and feel a putting stroke demands.

Re-Engineered UL7 Driver

The UL7 Driver benefits from a re-engineered head shape with improved aerodynamics, delivering faster clubhead speeds through the downswing. At 15° of loft — optimised for the slower swing speeds of junior players — the driver is designed to launch the ball on a high, powerful trajectory that maximises carry distance. The lightweight graphite shaft and correctly weighted head work together so even beginners can find the centre of the face consistently, building the confidence needed to attack the tee box.

Sandhills Putter — Steel Shaft Precision

The Sandhills Putter is the only club in the set to feature a steel shaft — a deliberate choice that provides the firmness and feedback that putting technique demands. At 30.5 inches in length, it is precisely sized for players in this height range, promoting a comfortable, upright putting stance. The Sandhills head design encourages a smooth, pendulum-like stroke, helping juniors develop consistent pace control and alignment habits that will serve them throughout their golfing career.
