The FootJoy CabrettaSof men's golf glove is handcrafted from premium Cabretta leather, delivering an exceptional combination of feel, fit, and durability. Using advanced material bonding technology and the finest sheepskin leather, this glove offers optimal touch on the club, a comfortable and secure fit, lightweight breathability, and outstanding flexibility round after round. Whether you are a seasoned touring professional or a weekend enthusiast, the CabrettaSof sets the benchmark for classic leather performance in a golf glove.
Every CabrettaSof glove is individually handcrafted using only the finest grade of Cabretta sheepskin leather. This natural material is prized in the golf world for its exceptionally thin yet strong fibres, which translate directly into a glove that feels like a second skin on your hand. The leather conforms to the contours of your grip naturally, providing feedback and sensitivity that synthetic materials simply cannot replicate. Over time the glove moulds to the unique shape of your hand, becoming more personalised with each wear. This is classic leather craftsmanship at its finest.
FootJoy treats the CabrettaSof leather using state-of-the-art tanning methods that build water and sweat resistance directly into the material. This means the glove retains its softness, grip, and supple texture even in warm, humid conditions on the course. Where untreated leather can stiffen, shrink, or lose its feel when exposed to moisture, the CabrettaSof stays consistently smooth and performance-ready. The result is a glove that maintains its elegant, timeless character round after round, season after season, without premature deterioration.
The ComforTab closure system is FootJoy's answer to a secure yet comfortable wrist fit. The tab is designed to allow easy, precise adjustment so you can dial in the exact level of tension you prefer before every shot. Once fastened, it holds firm throughout your swing without digging in or creating pressure points. The low-profile design means the tab lies flat against the wrist, avoiding any interference with your sleeve or watch. This small but important detail contributes significantly to the overall wearing comfort of the CabrettaSof glove.
The CabrettaSof is engineered to feel as unobtrusive as possible on the hand. The lightweight leather panels and carefully considered construction minimise bulk so the glove adds no unwanted weight or thickness to your grip. Natural breathability of the Cabretta leather allows air to circulate, keeping your hand cooler and drier over the course of a full round. Golfers who play in warmer climates or during the summer months will particularly appreciate how fresh and comfortable the glove remains from the first tee to the eighteenth green.

Use the size guide below to find your perfect fit. Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles (excluding the thumb) and match to the table. A properly fitted golf glove should feel snug with no loose material at the fingertips, but should not restrict circulation.

Because every golfer has a different hand shape, FootJoy produces the CabrettaSof in two distinct fits to ensure an accurate, comfortable glove for everyone.
Regular fit gloves are the standard cut, designed for golfers whose finger length is proportionate to their palm width. This is the most common hand shape and suits the majority of players.
Cadet fit gloves are specifically designed for golfers with shorter fingers relative to a wider palm. The finger stalls are shorter and the palm section is broader, preventing excess bunching at the fingertips while still covering the palm fully.
Choosing between Regular and Cadet is just as important as choosing the correct size. A glove that fits correctly in the palm but has too much material at the fingertips calls for Cadet; a glove that feels right in the fingers but tight across the palm calls for Regular in a larger size. When in doubt, our customer service team is happy to help you select the right combination.
