Technology in Detail
Integrated Height-Control Ring System
Lignum Tees were the first tees in the world to feature a built-in height-control mechanism. The innovative ring system creates a physical stop point on the shaft of the tee, so the tee always sits at the same depth in the ground. This means every drive is set up at an identical tee height — eliminating guesswork, improving consistency, and saving precious time on the tee box. Once you find your preferred height, the ring locks it in for every subsequent hole.
Eco-Friendly Microwood Material
Lignum tees are crafted from Microwood — a specially developed, environmentally conscious composite material that combines the natural feel of wood with superior technical properties. Microwood is biodegradable and sustainably produced, making it the responsible choice for eco-aware golfers. Despite being gentle on the environment, it delivers exceptional stability under impact and resists bending or snapping far better than traditional wooden tees, lasting up to 50 times longer.
Ergonomic Head Design
The specially shaped ergonomic head of the Lignum Tee allows golfers to place both the tee and the ball in a single, smooth motion. The cupped top holds the ball securely while you push the tee into the ground, reducing the time spent on the tee and making the process effortless even in cold or wet conditions when dexterity is reduced. This thoughtful design detail is one of the reasons Lignum has become the go-to tee for golfers of all skill levels across Europe.
Hitting Green — High-Visibility Colour
The vibrant Hitting Green colour makes these tees easy to spot on the fairway or in the rough, so you spend less time searching and more time playing. The colour is consistent throughout the material — not just a surface coating — ensuring it stays bright and identifiable round after round. The distinct green shade also adds a fresh, sporty look to your game-day kit.
