Technology in Detail

Innovative Ring Height-Control System

The defining feature of every Lignum tee is the patented ring system integrated into the shaft of the tee. This ring acts as a physical stop against the turf, so once you find your ideal tee height you can reproduce it on every hole without guessing or adjusting by eye. The system is especially valuable for drivers, where a consistent launch height has a direct impact on distance and accuracy. No other conventional wooden or plastic tee offers this level of height repeatability in such a simple, one-piece design.

Microwood Eco-Friendly Material

Lignum tees are crafted from a proprietary eco-conscious compound known as Microwood — a blend engineered to provide the feel of natural wood while delivering the structural integrity of a high-performance plastic. This material is up to 50 times more durable than traditional wooden tees, meaning a single Lignum tee can survive dozens of drives before showing meaningful wear. The Microwood compound is also designed with environmental impact in mind, making Lignum part of the growing movement toward sustainable golf equipment without compromising performance.

Ergonomic Head Design

The wide, ergonomically shaped cup at the top of the tee is designed to cradle the ball securely during placement. Thanks to this thoughtful geometry, you can press the tee into the ground and position the ball simultaneously with a single hand movement — saving time on the tee box and keeping your pre-shot routine smooth and consistent. The cup provides just enough resistance to hold the ball in place while you address it, without gripping the ball in a way that would interfere with the shot.

Colour Mix Pack

This 12-pack is supplied in a mixed assortment of colours, making it easy to spot your tee after the shot and adding a splash of personality to your game. The colour mix also makes it simple to share tees with playing partners while keeping track of which tees belong to whom. With 12 tees per pack, you have plenty of spares for a full round, and the exceptional durability of the Microwood material means many of those tees will still be in play well beyond a single 18-hole session.
