Choose a putter for your movement, not just its head shape. Posture, aim, length and the way you move the head all influence the result. Odyssey is a separate brand with its own model ranges.

Ai-DUAL and Ai-DUAL Square 2 Square
The European manufacturer materials list both families and dedicated Square 2 Square fitting resources. Record the full model name, hosel design, length and balance when comparing. The same head name does not necessarily mean the same configuration.
The photograph shows the Square 2 Square Jailbird. You can compare Ai-DUAL Square 2 Square Jailbird and Ai-DUAL Seven DB as specific examples. Neither is a universal recommendation; check the product pages for the configurations offered.
Four steps when testing
- Take a natural stance. Check length and eye position. Do not force your body into an uncomfortable posture to suit the club.
- Check your aim. Try different alignment features and verify where the head actually points, rather than relying on the view from above.
- Alternate short and long putts. Short putts help assess the start line; longer ones also test distance control.
- Repeat the same test. Look for a repeatable benefit rather than one holed putt.
Use the same ball model and the same starting positions. Record the direction of misses and whether balls finish short or long. This separates the feel of a new putter from the results of repeated attempts.
Assess putter length separately
The golf club length guide includes guidance for irons. Do not apply its chart to a putter: posture and head movement need their own assessment. Cruiser and Broomstick labels also refer to different configurations, not interchangeable versions of a conventional setup.
Before ordering, compare the exact specifications with the Odyssey technical documents. A family name or head shape alone cannot determine the right length or suitability for your stroke.
Summary
- Check the complete designation, including hosel and length.
- Assess actual alignment and distance control.
- Compare repeated attempts with the same ball.
- Do not derive putter length from an iron chart.
