Similar names do not always mean similar clubs. Start by deciding whether you need easier launch, stability on off-centre strikes, or more control over spin and shot shape.

Five Quantum drivers for 2026
| Model | What to assess |
|---|---|
| Quantum Max | A versatile starting point with adjustable weighting for neutral or draw settings. |
| Quantum Max D | Easier launch and a slight draw bias; worth comparing if a right-handed player's common miss goes right. |
| Quantum Max Fast | A lighter overall build for players who gain speed and launch from reduced weight. |
| Quantum Triple Diamond | A compact 450 cc head, lower spin and shot-shaping potential for accomplished players. |
| Quantum Triple Diamond Max | A 460 cc option with a low-spin focus and more stability than the compact model. |
This overview follows the European product sheets. Draw bias alone does not fix a swing, and one longest shot does not identify the best driver. Compare dispersion, repeatability and strike quality with the same ball model.
You can start by comparing Quantum Max with Quantum Max D. Check the product page for the exact loft, shaft and offered configurations.
Quantum and Apex irons: compare the whole set
The manufacturer's materials include Quantum Max, Max OS and Max Fast, plus Apex Ai150, Ai200, Ai300 and Ti Fusion. The number stamped on the sole is not enough for a distance comparison. Check loft, club length, shaft and the gaps between clubs.
Start with an iron you use frequently. Then test the longest iron and the transition from pitching wedge to your other wedges. A set starting with a long iron is not automatically the right choice; usable distance and consistent contact matter more.
Choose length and shaft together
Standard does not mean the same length across all models. A +0.5″ adjustment adds length to that particular club's standard; it does not produce the same finished length in every set. The golf club length guide provides orientation, while exact dimensions belong in the Callaway technical documents.
The head alone does not determine the result. Shaft length, loft and total weight affect impact conditions. Record the configuration during testing, particularly when changing more than one variable.
Before you choose
- Select for a recurring need, rather than one exceptional shot.
- Use the same ball model and similar conditions for comparisons.
- Check gaps throughout the iron set and into the wedges.
- Match specifications to the exact generation and configuration.
