Low spin, titanium construction, and maximum control. The PING G430 LST is a tour-style fairway wood engineered for players with higher swing speeds who demand a penetrating ball flight, reduced spin, and precision both off the tee and from the fairway. The low-spinning design combines a 2041 Beta-Ti face, a Ti 8-1-1 body, and a high-density tungsten sole plate to position the centre of gravity low and back — delivering faster ball speed with less spin for significant distance gains. The high-strength titanium face wraps into the crown and sole to maximise face flex, while the Carbonfly Wrap crown and Spinsistency face technology work together to produce consistently longer, more forgiving results. Available in 3-wood only (15°).
Ideal for:
The G430 LST is purpose-built for tour-level low-spin performance through a sophisticated multi-material construction. The face is formed from 2041 Beta-Ti — a high-strength titanium alloy that wraps into both the crown and the sole to increase face flex and drive up ball speed across the entire hitting area. The body is constructed from Ti 8-1-1, keeping the structure light and rigid, while an 80-gram high-density tungsten sole plate pushes the centre of gravity as low and as far back as possible. This combination delivers faster ball speed, dramatically reduced spin, and improved forgiveness — translating to an average of seven yards (approx. 6.4 m) more distance compared to a standard fairway wood design.

The Carbonfly Wrap is an ultra-lightweight composite crown that extends around the heel and toe sections of the head. By replacing heavier metallic material with this advanced carbon composite, PING engineers free up significant mass savings that are then redistributed strategically within the head. The result is a lower centre of gravity, increased ball speed, and a higher moment of inertia (MOI) — all of which translate to greater forgiveness on mishits. The carbon composite also contributes to the club's pleasing sound at impact, inspiring confidence at address.
Spinsistency is PING's proprietary variable roll radius face technology, designed to deliver consistent spin rates and ball speeds across the full face. The face features a progressively reduced loft in its lower portion, which counteracts the tendency to over-spin thin shots — one of the most common causes of short, ballooning fairway wood results. By reducing spin and boosting ball speed on low-face strikes, Spinsistency ensures that even imperfect contact produces penetrating, distance-maintaining results. The technology effectively widens the sweet spot vertically, giving players greater confidence from both the tee and the turf.

Trajectory Tuning 2.0 uses a lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve offering eight distinct positions, allowing players to fine-tune their ball flight for maximum distance and precision. Loft can be adjusted by ±1.5° from the standard 15° setting, while the lie angle can be set up to 3° flatter than standard — giving a genuinely wide range of trajectory options from a single club head. Whether you need a lower, more penetrating flight or want to add loft for softer landing angles, the eight-position hosel makes it possible without needing custom shaft changes. The lie angle stated in the specifications represents an average of the five adjustable loft positions indicated on the hosel.
PING offers a carefully curated range of proprietary shaft options designed to complement the G430 LST head across a full spectrum of swing profiles. The PING Alta CB Black 65 delivers a mid-to-high launch angle, making it ideal for players seeking a higher ball flight without sacrificing feel. The PING Tour 2.0 Chrome (available in 65 and 75 weight classes) produces a mid launch trajectory, offering a balance between workability and consistency. The PING Tour 2.0 Black (65 and 75 weight classes) provides the lowest launch angle of the PING-engineered range, suiting players who already generate a high, natural launch and need to keep the ball flight under control. Optional third-party shafts — the Project X HZRDUS Smoke Red RDX (higher launch) and the Mitsubishi Kai'li White 70 (lower launch) — are also available on request.
