The Rebound Frame is Srixon's most advanced energy-transfer system ever engineered into a driver. Rather than relying solely on face flex, Rebound Frame layers alternating zones of stiff and flexible material in a concentric pattern throughout the entire clubhead. The face itself — built from the exceptionally flexible Ti51AF titanium alloy — acts as the first flex zone, surrounded by a stiffer perimeter ring. A second ring of thin, flexible titanium sits just in front of the internal rib structure, creating a spring-within-a-spring effect that rebounds energy back into the ball with exceptional efficiency. The result is higher ball speed and greater distance on every shot, especially on solid centre-face strikes.
The ZX5's carbon fibre crown is 15% larger than the crowns used in previous Srixon driver generations, and its impact on forgiveness is dramatic. By replacing heavier metal with a strong yet ultralight carbon weave, Srixon engineers are able to move significant discretionary mass low, deep, and around the perimeter of the 460 cc head. This repositioned mass raises the MOI (Moment of Inertia) above the 5,000 mark, which means the clubhead resists twisting on off-centre hits and maintains much more ball speed across a wider strike zone. Golfers who miss the sweet spot slightly — heel, toe, or low on the face — will still see impressive carry distances compared to a conventional metallic crown design.
The ZX5 is purposefully shaped to help golfers launch the ball higher and carry it farther. Its larger overall footprint, flattened crown, and shorter skirt create a lower and deeper centre of gravity compared to a conventional round-profile driver. The single 8-gram sole weight is positioned low and deep in the head to further enhance launch angle and reduce the risk of a low-spinning, low-trajectory shot. The triangular rear shape not only contributes to the high-MOI weight distribution but also gives the club an athletic, confidence-inspiring look at address. The Srixon ZX5 gives golfers comprehensive control over their ball flight through two adjustability systems. The adjustable hosel sleeve offers 12 unique combinations of loft, lie angle, and face angle, allowing you to fine-tune trajectory and shot shape to match your natural swing. In addition, the single sole weight port accepts Srixon ZX Driver Weights in 4 g, 6 g, 8 g, 10 g, and 12 g variants (sold separately), so you can customise the swing weight and overall feel of the club as you change shafts or simply seek a different balance point.
