Brand new to the ZXi Driver line, visible Laser Face Milling has been precision-applied to the entire face surface. The ultra-consistent micro-groove pattern created by the laser milling process acts to stabilise spin rate at impact, reducing the variability that can cause erratic ball flights. Equally important, the milled texture maintains its grip on the ball in damp and wet conditions — an area where many drivers with a smooth face surface suffer a performance drop. The result is tighter dispersion and more reliable spin numbers round after round, whatever the weather.
The Star Frame Crown uses complex internal latticework to create the structural integrity needed to support an ultralight, remarkably thin titanium crown. By making the crown as light as possible without sacrificing rigidity, Srixon is able to free up significant discretionary mass that would otherwise be locked into the crown structure. This liberated mass is then precisely positioned to suit the ZXi Driver's ideal launch angle and spin characteristics — delivering a mid-high launch with mid-low spin that maximises carry distance and overall yardage for mid-to-high swing speed players.
The ZXi Driver offers a class-leading level of on-course adjustability.
