New PWRCORE™

The PWRCORE™ is the heart of the SpeedSoft and what makes it TaylorMade’s softest golf ball ever. It is an extra-large, super-low compression core built from faster core materials that have been specifically developed to generate additional distance. The larger core geometry increases contact time at impact, which limits spin and delivers greater overall distance. At the same time, the ultra-soft compression ensures that the ball stays on the clubface just a fraction longer — a sensation that translates into a noticeably plush feel on every iron shot, wedge, and putt. Despite its incredibly soft compression rating, the SpeedSoft tests right up to the maximum USGA initial velocity limit, proving that softness and speed no longer have to be a compromise.

Soft Sub-50 Compression

With a compression rating of under 50, the SpeedSoft features the lowest compression of any ball in the TaylorMade range. The larger core design makes it exceptionally easy to compress, even for golfers with moderate swing speeds, resulting in maximum energy transfer and a satisfyingly soft feel at impact. This easy compression also promotes a higher and straighter ball flight, helping everyday golfers keep the ball in play more consistently. 322 Extended Flight Dimple Pattern

TaylorMade has refined their 322 Extended Flight Dimple Pattern to minimise aerodynamic drag and maximise distance.
