Titleist Tour Soft Golf Balls 2026 - White, 12-Ball Pack

Long, fast, and still pleasantly soft. Titleist Tour Soft White golf balls are the newest generation of the popular two-piece ball that has long served as Titleist's hidden tour gem. The new Tour Soft has been completely reworked from core to cover, delivering longer distance off the tee, a higher flight with irons, and more stopping power on the greens, all while keeping the ball's signature soft feel.

Unlike most two-piece ionomer-covered balls, the 2026 Tour Soft has a relatively higher compression and a genuinely tour-like character. In independent testing it ranks among the longest balls off the tee, and its overall performance edges close to pricier premium urethane tour models.

Key Features

  • New Core: A smaller, re-engineered core lowers long-game spin for extra ball speed off the tee.
  • New Cover: A thicker, softer elastomer cover keeps control and feel on short-game shots.
  • 386 Dimple Pattern: A quadrilateral dipyramid dimple design cuts drag and stabilizes ball flight.
  • Longer Distance: Reduced driver spin adds extra carry and total distance off the tee.
  • Higher Iron Launch: A bigger apex with irons creates a steeper landing angle into the green.
  • More Stopping Power: The steeper descent angle helps the ball stop faster once it lands.
  • Soft, Tour-Like Feel: A reformulated cover stays soft yet keeps a firmer, tour-caliber response.
  • Tee-to-Green All-Rounder: Built to combine distance, stopping power, and soft feel in one ball.
  • Two-Piece White Construction: Classic two-piece build, supplied in a white, 12-ball pack.

Technology in Detail

New Core and Cover Construction

Tour Soft remains a two-piece ball, a large core wrapped in an elastomer-type cover, but the internal geometry has been completely redesigned for 2026. The new core is slightly smaller than before, while the elastomer cover is thicker and noticeably softer. This combination lowers spin during the long game, which in turn helps the ball carry farther off the tee. At the same time, the softer outer layer keeps enough grip on the clubface to preserve control and a pleasant feel on short-game shots around the green.

386-Dimple Quadrilateral Dipyramid Pattern

Titleist developed an entirely new 386-dimple pattern specifically for the Tour Soft, based on a quadrilateral dipyramid layout. The design reduces aerodynamic drag as the ball moves through the air, helping it hold a longer, more penetrating flight off the tee. It also stabilizes the ball's trajectory in gusty or crosswind conditions, so shots keep their intended line more reliably. The net effect for the golfer is fewer wayward shots and more consistent distance, round after round.

Long Distance and Higher Iron Launch

The main goal behind the new generation was pairing extra yardage off the tee with better stopping power on the green. Lower spin with the driver reduces energy loss at impact and adds carry distance on full swings. With irons, the redesigned construction promotes a higher launch angle and a bigger apex, sending approach shots higher into the air. That steeper trajectory produces a steeper landing angle once the ball comes down, which is exactly what generates stronger stopping power on the putting surface.

Soft, Tour-Certain Feel

The reformulated elastomer cover uses a different softening compound than the previous Tour Soft generation, making it noticeably softer at impact. Despite that extra softness, the ball retains a firmer, more tour-like character that experienced players will recognize from premium urethane balls. This balance is most obvious on full shots with the driver and long irons, where the ball still feels responsive rather than dead. Around the green, the same soft cover helps generate spin and control on chips, pitches, and putts.

Tee-to-Green All-Rounder

Titleist positions the Tour Soft as a complete package that combines distance, stopping power, and a soft feel in a single ball, rather than forcing golfers to trade one quality for another. It is built to fly far off the tee, stop quickly once it reaches the green, and feel soft at every point of contact throughout the bag. That balance makes the Tour Soft a genuine tee-to-green performer instead of a ball optimized for only one part of the game. For golfers who want tour-level performance without switching to a premium urethane model, it is designed to cover the whole course.

Best Suited For

  • Soft-Feel Seekers: Players who want a soft feel without giving up distance or power off the tee.
  • Near-Tour Performance: Golfers looking for a near-tour ball who prefer an ionomer-type cover for its durability and price over investing in a Pro V1 or another urethane-covered model.
  • All-Round Players: Golfers who want one versatile ball from tee to green, combining distance with stopping power.
