The Opus SP introduces an all-new re-engineered 2-piece construction head design that strategically reshapes mass to optimise center of gravity (CG) locations. The Spin Pocket redistributes weight higher in the head, raising the CG and promoting a lower, more penetrating ball flight. The result is significantly more spin and enhanced control — exactly what you need when flighting shots into tight pins or playing in challenging conditions. This innovative construction represents a major leap forward from the original Opus design.
The Spin Gen 2.0 face is the most advanced face ever featured in the Opus line. A new 17° groove angle combined with tighter pitch spacing maximises groove edge contact across the entire face, generating more consistent spin from a wide variety of lies. A deeper cross-hatch laser pattern further enhances friction across the face, producing more bite and stopping power on approach shots of all lengths — from full swings to delicate partial shots and pitches around the green.
