Odyssey DFX 2-Ball Blade CH putter

Description

Odyssey DFX 2-Ball Blade CH putter

The Odyssey DFX 2-Ball Blade CH Putter combines a classic blade chassis with Odyssey's iconic 2-Ball alignment system and the brand's softest-ever insert technology. Designed for golfers who prefer a traditional look at address combined with effortless aim, this putter delivers an exceptionally smooth feel and a consistently pure roll from the moment of impact. The Crank Hosel (CH) configuration provides minimal toe hang, making this model ideally suited for players whose stroke follows a slight arc with minimal face rotation. Available in lengths of 33", 34", and 35" with a choice of Pistol or Oversize grip, and finished in a refined charcoal colourway, the DFX 2-Ball Blade CH arrives complete with a matching headcover.

Technology in Detail

Iconic 2-Ball Alignment System

The 2-Ball alignment is one of the most recognisable and effective aiming tools in golf. Two high-contrast white circles are embedded on the back of the blade chassis, mimicking the visual of two golf balls side by side and creating a powerful targeting reference at address. This system allows golfers to align the putter face more intuitively and consistently, reducing pre-shot anxiety and helping to instil confidence over even the most challenging putts. The blade footprint keeps the setup compact and familiar for traditional putter users, while the alignment benefit of the 2-Ball remains fully intact.

DFX Insert — Odyssey's Softest Feel

At the heart of this putter is the DFX insert, Odyssey's softest insert technology ever developed. Engineered from a non-metallic polymer material, the DFX insert is 20% softer than the acclaimed White Hot insert, producing a uniquely muted sound at impact and an exceptionally plush, buttery feel. This level of softness translates directly into superior touch and distance control, letting you dial in the pace of every putt with precision. The black insert is visually framed by the charcoal head finish, creating a clean contrast that naturally draws the eye to the hitting zone.

Crank Hosel (CH) — Minimal Toe Hang

The Crank Hosel is a precision-engineered hosel design that positions the shaft so the putter head exhibits just 16° of toe hang. This minimal toe hang characteristic makes the putter head naturally resist excessive face rotation during the stroke, encouraging a consistently square face through impact. It is particularly well matched to golfers who use a straight-back, straight-through stroke or one with a very slight arc. The CH configuration is one of the key technical differentiators that sets this model apart within the DFX range, giving players real stroke-type specificity in their equipment choice.

Charcoal Finish & Classic Head Shape

The DFX 2-Ball Blade CH is presented in a striking charcoal finish that gives the putter a modern, premium aesthetic while eliminating unwanted glare at address. The dark tones of the head beautifully accentuate the black DFX insert and the white 2-Ball alignment markings, creating a high-contrast visual that immediately draws the eye to the key reference points. The blade head shape itself is a classic Odyssey silhouette — compact, clean, and familiar — giving traditional putter users a comfortable and confidence-inspiring look at setup.

Grip Options & Length Choices

To suit the widest possible range of players, the Odyssey DFX 2-Ball Blade CH is available with two distinct grip profiles: the Odyssey Pistol grip, which features a tapered shape that promotes a light, controlled hold, and the Odyssey Oversize grip, which offers additional girth to reduce unwanted hand and wrist action during the stroke. The Odyssey Slim Pistol is also available as a custom option for those who prefer a slimmer feel. Three standard lengths — 33", 34", and 35" — ensure golfers of differing heights and posture preferences can find the perfect fit.

Odyssey Stepped 2.0 Chrome Steel Shaft

The putter is fitted with the Odyssey Stepped 2.0 Chrome Steel shaft, a reliable and time-tested steel shaft design that provides the consistency and rigidity demanded of a precision putting instrument. The stepped profile contributes to a well-balanced feel throughout the stroke and ensures that energy is transferred cleanly from the hands through the shaft to the clubhead at impact. Combined with the 360 g head weight and the full-shaft offset geometry, the overall setup promotes a smooth, pendulum-like putting motion.
