PING G Le3 Fetch ladies putter 2023

PING G Le3 Fetch ladies putter 2023

The Ping G Le3 Fetch is a purpose-built ladies mallet putter designed to deliver the ideal blend of feel, forgiveness and distance control on every green. Part of the four-model G Le3 putter family, the Fetch is engineered specifically for female golfers who favour a straight-back, straight-through putting stroke. Its refined aesthetics, high-MOI head geometry and advanced PEBAX elastomer insert technology make it one of the most complete ladies putters available, and it ships complete with a matching headcover.

Key Features

• Two-Piece PEBAX Elastomer Insert: Soft front face with PLD-inspired shallow grooves paired with a firmer rear layer delivers outstanding feel and precise distance control.
• Double-Bend Shaft: The Fetch's double-bend shaft is optimised for golfers with a straight putting stroke and minimal face rotation.
• Slate PVD Finish: The durable slate-coloured PVD coating creates a striking contrast with the white insert and ball-width alignment lines for effortless target alignment.
• Ball Pick-Up Feature: A cleverly designed round flange sole cavity retrieves gimme putts and fits into the cup so you can pick up holed balls without bending over.
• High-MOI Mallet Head: The small rounded-mallet shape delivers a high moment of inertia for exceptional stability and anti-twist performance on off-centre strikes.
• 17-4 Stainless Steel Construction: The head body is crafted from robust 17-4 stainless steel, ensuring lasting durability and a premium feel at impact.
• G Le3-Specific PP59 Deep Sea Grip: The ladies-specific Pistol PP59 grip in Deep Sea colourway features a PU wrap construction for superior comfort, feel and a refined look.

Technology in Detail

Two-Piece PEBAX Elastomer Insert

At the heart of every G Le3 putter lies a sophisticated two-piece PEBAX elastomer insert engineered to optimise feel and consistency. The soft front section incorporates PLD-inspired shallow grooves that promote a smooth, controlled roll off the face, while the firmer rear section provides the structural feedback needed for reliable distance control. Together, these two layers work in concert to produce an ideal impact sensation — soft enough for confidence, firm enough for precision. The result is a putter face that helps players of all abilities judge pace more accurately and hole more putts.

Fetch Double-Bend Shaft & Alignment

The Fetch model is defined by its double-bend shaft geometry, which positions the head perfectly for golfers who employ a straight-back, straight-through stroke with minimal face rotation through impact. This shaft configuration promotes a neutral setup and consistent face angle at address. The slate PVD finish on the 17-4 stainless steel body provides a premium, glare-free appearance, while contrasting sharply with the crisp white insert and the ball-width alignment lines. This high-contrast visual system makes it quick and intuitive to aim correctly, helping golfers achieve a consistent setup for putts of any length.

Ball Pick-Up Feature

The Fetch's cleverly engineered sole cavity sets it apart from conventional mallet putters. The round flange at the rear of the sole is specifically sized to retrieve a golf ball — whether picking up a conceded gimme on the fairway or retrieving a holed putt from the cup — without requiring the golfer to bend down. This practical innovation is particularly appreciated by players who find repeated bending uncomfortable during a round. It is a small but meaningful detail that underlines PING's commitment to designing equipment that genuinely improves the on-course experience for female golfers.

High-MOI Mallet Head Design

The Fetch head is shaped as a compact, high-MOI mallet, combining a popular rounded silhouette with serious performance engineering. The elevated moment of inertia resists twisting on mis-hit putts, keeping the face square through impact and preserving ball speed even when contact is not perfectly centred. The rear cavity layout redistributes mass efficiently around the perimeter of the head, enhancing stability without adding bulk. This makes the Fetch an excellent choice for players who want the forgiveness benefits of a larger mallet in a more understated, easy-to-aim package.

G Le3-Specific PP59 Deep Sea Grip

The Ping Pistol PP59 Deep Sea grip has been designed exclusively for the G Le3 putter range and offers a notably comfortable pistol-style profile that fits naturally in the hands of female golfers. The ergonomic shape encourages the hands to sit correctly on the grip, which in turn can help square the face at impact for a more consistent stroke. The grip is finished in an updated polyurethane (PU) wrap construction distinguished by G Le3's signature Deep Sea colours, delivering a premium feel that complements the putter's refined aesthetics. Superior tactile feedback and a confident, secure hold are the hallmarks of this purpose-built grip.
