The Srixon ZX5 Mk II Driver is engineered for golfers who demand maximum forgiveness, high launch, and explosive distance from a confidence-inspiring 460cc head. Built around Srixon's signature Rebound Frame technology with Dual Flex Zones, this driver delivers a powerful energy transfer at impact — like a spring within a spring — keeping ball speeds high across the entire face. Paired with the premium Mitsubishi Diamana ZX (5th Generation) 50g Regular shaft for smooth, controlled loading and an active release, the ZX5 Mk II is the ideal weapon for mid-to-high handicappers who want to hit it longer, higher, and straighter. This is a DEMO club in excellent 9/10 condition — no headcover included.

Most driver designs rely on a single flex zone — the face — to generate ball speed at impact. Srixon's Rebound Frame introduces a second flex zone: a thin ring of titanium offset just behind the face. At impact, the face (Zone 1) flexes inward while the ring (Zone 2) flexes outward in response — a "spring within a spring" rebound effect. These two zones work in coordinated opposition, amplifying the energy released back into the golf ball and delivering an uncommonly pure transfer of power. The practical result is a measurably larger high-COR area (10% larger than the previous ZX5 generation), meaning ball speed stays elevated even on less-than-perfect strikes across the full face.
The Star Frame Crown solves a classic engineering dilemma: how to make a driver crown structurally rigid enough to handle impact forces while keeping it ultra-thin and light. By engineering an internal lattice of ridges and ribs rather than relying on raw material thickness, Srixon achieves both goals simultaneously. The mass saved from the crown is then repositioned — in the ZX5 Mk II specifically, it goes low and back in the sole — boosting the moment of inertia (MOI) and helping the clubhead resist twisting on mis-hits. The net effect is greater stability, higher launch, and a more forgiving flight on every swing.
The Diamana ZX belongs to Mitsubishi's 5th Generation Diamana family, building on the legacy of the celebrated 4th Gen ZF profile. It features a stable butt section and tip section that keep the delivery consistent, combined with a slightly softer, more active mid-section that provides a smooth, effortless loading feel through the downswing. At 50 grams in Regular flex, it is perfectly matched to moderate swing speeds seeking easy clubhead acceleration, a mid-to-high launch window, and reliable shot-to-shot repeatability.
This club is sold as a DEMO unit in 9/10 condition. No headcover is included. All DEMO clubs are inspected by our PGA professionals before listing.
