That additional flex potential is then channelled through two complementary systems. First, the i-FLEX face thickness pattern — a precisely mapped variation in face thickness across multiple zones — ensures that each area of the face flexes in a controlled, optimised manner at the moment of impact, maximising the energy returned to the ball.
