*To comply with USGA and R&A industry guidelines, Srixon has updated how club lengths are measured and published. Published length specifications for Srixon irons are now approximately 1/4" longer. Note: the actual club lengths have not changed - only the way they are measured and recorded has changed.
Srixon uses a new i-ALLOY steel that is softer and less dense than the 431 steel commonly used in this category. The result is a noticeably softer feel at impact and clearer feedback on every strike, without compromising the strength and durability the irons need.
A specially milled pattern on the back of the clubface increases face flexibility while redistributing mass to raise the moment of inertia. The result is higher ball speed and greater forgiveness on off-center strikes.
The V-shaped Tour V.T. Sole balances bounce and relief so the club glides through the turf without unwanted resistance. A higher-bounce leading edge helps prevent digging, while the relieved trailing edge lets the head exit the turf quickly, for cleaner and more stable contact from the fairway, rough, and tougher lies.
The ZXiR irons feature a larger head profile, a wider sole, and a clean topline that inspires confidence at address. The design combines a modern cavity-back construction with the elegant look typical of the Srixon ZXi lineup.
Thanks to the combination of a wider head, larger clubface, and optimized center of gravity, these irons deliver stable results even on mis-hit shots, making the ZXiR ideal for players who want more consistency and extra distance.
