The White TPU Pure Roll insert is made from a blend of Surlyn and aluminum, combining soft feel with responsive feedback. Grooves are precisely angled at 45° to engage the ball at impact and immediately promote a true, skid-free forward roll. The 5mm insert thickness in the Spider Tour X head was specifically chosen to optimise both sound and MOI in this larger head format.
Small Slant Hosel & Toe Hang
The Small Slant hosel is the configuration played by Rory McIlroy on tour. It delivers 30° of toe hang with a half-shaft offset, promoting natural face rotation through the stroke. This makes it the ideal choice for golfers with a moderate-to-strong arc in their putting motion. Golfers who prefer a straight-back-straight-through stroke should consider the Double Bend hosel variant instead.
CG Location, MOI & Wireframe Construction
The Spider Tour X features a CG located 33mm behind the face — slightly forward of the standard Spider Tour's 35mm — which encourages a touch more face rotation and a blade-like feel while retaining an MOI of approximately 5,000 for exceptional off-centre forgiveness. The steel wireframe superstructure and thin wall undercuts allow precision mass placement, maximising stability and consistency even on imperfect strikes.
